When I tried to scan it at the barriers it wouldn't let me through so I asked a ticket barrier staff member to let me through and showed him the ticket. He mistakenly told me "the ticket is valid from 17th October" however although I had thoroughly checked when purchasing the ticket that it was valid on the day I was confused and believed him as he worked there so I thought surely he must know. This led me to purchase another exact same ticket due to this confusion and being misled by him. I noticed the two tickets were both exactly the same and both were valid from 16th October to 17th October. I spoke to numerous train staff but they said since I had purchased the ticket on the Gatwick Express app I would have to get a refund through the app. The app is terrible it sends you round and round in circles and this is defeating which might lead to so many people not even bothering to get their refund after giving up. I finally found a form to fill out after so many dead end links on the app. Someone finally emailed me and said they can see I was misled into buying two tickets and they will forward my email to the refund team. However that was 5 days ago and still I haven't received any refund. The train itself is called "Gatwick Express" but like so many other have stated that another train goes to Gatwick airport which stops at two other stops on the way and maybe is 5-10 minutes slower with almost half the cost at certain times. It is even misleading to call a train "express" when it doesn't stop at any stops on the way and is at most 5-10 minutes quicker. The staff are not at all helpful and customer service and refunds is very very awful. The app makes it very difficult to get a refund and the staff at the barriers how can they not know a Gatwick Express ticket is valid for the next day but starts the day for which it has been purchased. This sort of train scam should be illegal.

Booked an arrival and return pick-up, for a total of 98 British Pounds. Not bad at all for a two way ride! ( A Black Cab will cost over 100 Pounds one-way from the airport) My driver called my cell phone at pre-arranged time, upon landing at Heathrow. He greeted us at the arrival exit, with a placard with my full name on it. The driver was very courteous and helpful with our luggage to the car. Bottles of waters are available in the car. On our return trip to the airport, the assigned driver arrived at the hotel early for pick-up and gave me a call. No stress and no-frills impeccable service! Highly recommended for travelers arriving in London with spouse/family and a lot of luggage! I cant imagine people travelling any other way!

Our plane was late in arriving and somehow signals got crossed and the driver was not there. After a few phone calls, we found each other. It was a quiet and uneventful ride. We have come to rely on the efficient and prompt service we have received from Twelve Transfers. We highly recommend this company. It is nice having a picture of the car and driver who would be taking us from London to Southampton. Karim was waiting for us when we left our hotel. The car was a Jaguar and was most comfortable. Karim was a very skillful driver getting us out of London in no time and on the motorway to Southampton. It was an uneventful trip. We through enjoyed our conversations with Karim on various topics.
