Just a wee heads up for everybody. Do not book a coach through a company called Grand Coaches, based in London. A group of 29 had been in talks with them back in January and had arranged a coach to take us from Glasgow to Donnington and back, Wed - Monday. A total price was agreed upon and was paid in full immediately. Now with less than 10hrs before our departure a representative from the company has gotten in touch to say that the driver is sick and they have no other drivers. they have sourced a driver from another company but it will be £1000 extra that we need to pay right now. They will not tell us the company's name,website,contact phone number or any details what so ever. It sounds like it is one company that own all these little companies and are looking to line their own pockets. We feel like we are being blackmailed into giving them this extra money and are not going to do so. They have laughed on the phone at us and were conatantly hanging up. WARNING ! Do not book any thing at all with Grand Coaches. They make my summer in 2018 like hell and are thieves and gangsters. Its all start when I request for a bus rental from Aberdeen to Alnwick. We needed 2 busses for some young musician's that was arriving by plane to Aberdeen from Norway . We got an acceptable price and booked it. We also paid 50 present at once and the rest a mounts before departure. The evening before when we push to get the drivers name and phone numbers they ( Mr Henry Luu )just sent a mail were they cancelled the job because they said they had no drivers. Imagine this problem. 40 parents with kids arriving Aberdeen and have no transport at all! To make a long story short, we manage to get a bus from Aberdeen and returning with train to a lot of extra cost. Grand Coaches with their transport manager Henry Luu promised me in at least 50 e-mails that they should return the money I paid. I only got back the money I paid bu creditcard and not the rest. I am still waiting for the rest, nearly 2000 gbp ! I have sent a warning to all my colleagues in American Express travel and HRG and the word is no spread all over. Do NOT use this company. They are definitely crooks. My Daughter and 11 friends wanted something nice to go to prom in Edinburgh. They didn't want a limo but felt a luxury mini bus would be perfect and more classy.They could have got 3 taxi' s but decided that they wanted something they could all go in together and paid for the fancy mini bus pictured. They paid a premium price of £170 and were really excited about it but on the day 2 local taxis for 4 and 6 people arrived 35 mins apart. Basically this company just call you a cab!!! No explanation. No refund. No apology. They ripped off 12 school children. They are despicable. We have reported them to trading standards. read more

THE WORST SERVICE IN LONDON. To start they are just an intermediary company and the photos of the website are not real. To continues, they didn´t pick us up at the point that we agreed, no one pick up the phone to give us an explanation, and important: NO REFOUND ABOUT THEIR MISTAKE. We were 21 people, we hired a bus, there was no respect, no refound, no answer, nothing. If you need to trust in a bus service for your group, THIS IS NOT A GOOD COMPANY. Do not use this company to hire coaches from. We live in Scotland and to say they pretty much ruined my daughter's wedding day is an understatement. The pictures used are not their coaches, they are only brokers and contract out. We had buses cancelled two days before wedding and had to take a double decker bus instead of the two executive coaches booked. The company they hired said they were at the venue the night before (CCTV footage from the venue confirmed they were not there) then they almost blackmailed us on the wedding day for another £150 to send a bus on the correct day saying they wouldn't deliver unless we paid them - at this point we were unaware that the hired company had lied about being there the night before. This communication was done on the morning of the wedding (6/5/18) and despite asking for a number to call and discuss directly they would only communicate by e-mail. The most awful bus arrived on the night only to break down before a guest had set foot on it. The driver phoned his boss and they then spoke to each other in Spanish so we couldn't understand a word. We had over seventy guests stranded for over an hour and still no resolution. In the end it was the Night Manager from the venue who helped to get guests home. As I write this (9/5/18) I have had no reply to my e-mail from Grand Coaches asking for a full refund as they did not fulfill their contract. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ANY COST. read more
