I'm going to be "that guy" and complain about something free but, Gatsby did me dirty. I brought a 1st-time customer in and as thanks they hooked me up with a free 8th. I would be embarrassed to hand anyone the weed I was given. The mac & cheese they gave me resembled rat turds with twigs sticking out of them. That's the last new customer I bring to Gatsby. They don't take any pride in their weed. included is a picture read more

Bought a defective disposable vape high society brand, 35$, 45 with tax. Long story short called and explained that it will not charge and it's still full, they told me they have to call me back if they can switch it or not.. after being investigated over the phone like I've done something wrong. No apology given. Next day comes, they don't call so I do. They denied doing an exchange or refund. BE AWAREEEEE. Way better weed, and vape products even better prices, and customer service at other dispensaries. read more

So happy that this dispensary is in our neighborhood. What a selection to choose from and they have the staff to properly serve and guide you. read more

I have been to Gatsby's at least 9 times and every time the budtenders have been polite and helpful. Even on 4/20 when the store was full of customers they were very patient and working hard to serve everyone as quickly as they could. It took me maybe 20 minutes to complete my purchase, that included waiting in line outside. Not too long at all, very efficient given the situation!! And thanks for the 4/20 perks that were included, Mike read more

I started going to Gatsby just recently. My old shop closed on Woodward. Three visits in, and I like the place! It has always been quick in and out even when there are many customers. The building inside and out is pretty cool. Parking is cool. The selection is better than any spot I have been to in Metro Detroit. Today, Bri helped me and she was knowledgeable and very friendly! This is my new weed shop! read more

Nice location with good staff. Despite a large volume of shoppers the process was fast. Bri was very kind and did a good job!

Wise up and go to a different dispo! I've been going to Gatsby for a few years because it's the closest dispensary to my house, but unfortunately almost every visit has been a negative experience. The music is so loud it's difficult to hear employees or ask questions, the staff often come across as disengaged and not very knowledgeable about products, and the prices are consistently much higher than competitor dispensaries. I kept giving it chances because of convenience, but at this point I won't be coming back. read more

Service not to good, The flower they were selling was all crunchy no soft buds, definitely won't come here again, glad I didn't spend any money, I'll be taking my business elsewhere read more

To every customer reading this, you are better off going somewhere else. I've never had an issue at ANY establishment until I visited Gatsby Cannabis & this was my first visit. I bought a pen and realized it was the wrong one. When I went back no more than 15 mins later - I gave the pen back in exchange for the one I needed. The lady budtender with long brown hair wearing glasses, took my pen & lead me to believe I could exchange it. After taking the pen that I PAID FOR, she asked which one I wanted & in the same breath tried to charge me for another one! As soon as I saw she was trying to charge me twice (right after saying I could exchange it) I requested that she give me the one I initially paid for back. THE PART THAT BAFFLED ME was when I asked for the pen that I DID BUY, she forgot that I gave it back to her. She then accused me of accusing her of stealing my pen. After speaking with a manager, I was told they would check the cameras & give me a call. It's been 5 days & I have yet to receive a call. This was matter handled horribly and I'm so glad that it was only $15 that I donated to this place. Save your money. You'll thank yourself later. read more

Warm & welcoming staff. Emily & DJ were very informative and helpful. I definitely recommend visiting if you're in the area.

So last weekend I received a flier in the mail it said 4/18 40% off and 1000 $ raffle and any purchase automatically get an entry and goodie bags all weekend long. I asked the lady about it she said no gift bags till Monday I was like that's not what the flier said and she just finished ringing me. Up no 40% off no gift bag and no raffle entry. Really upsets me I guess I'll shop other stores for my products. Shawn read more

if I could give them a -10, I would I texted the number on the photo to get a delivery. I was giving a price and a delivery fee and a Zelle to send the money. Once I sent the money, it was oh now you owe more money because there is a minimum on the delivery. Why was that not communicated in that first place and now I am being refused a refund or any explanation on why it cannot be delivered or why the minimum was not disclosed before any money was transaction read more

Great selection and prices and staff! Its also right by meijer to allow shopping before!

Do not buy their 2 gram society C disposables they are Duds and they are still selling them. I called and notified "Alette" supposedly she's a manager there, she was aware and didn't want to swap it out for me knowing they're a million dollar company. She has a huge attitude problem and they're taxing like a mf . Way better dispensary's around. Weed is always ass! Try BUTTER they are the best & have quality. read more

So I went in and bought some concentrate. This might seem like a really nitpicking thing but to me it's not because I am a really heavy live rosin smoker. There is specific brands that I smoke because I know for a fact that they make it the correct way and certain brands that I smoke because it's a certain way that they extract the concentrate so there is a string called known and known does collaboration with Matty B I only smoke matty b by known concentrate so I bought one and on the description it says known Matt B collaboration and I bought it because it says Matt be collaboration. It was razzlez flavor one so those aren't actually Collab with matty B. It's just a regular known strand. So 90% of the dispensaries out there that has MattyB is usually about $10-$15 more expensive because the Matty b it's kinda like the s tier of the know brand. Anyways, you guys lied to me about the advertisement saying that this was Maddie B's collaboration when it wasn't. I know this for a fact because known that have matty b has a signature by them on the container. Anyways, I know for a fact that I'm not wrong in this situation and you guys should really change that. read more

I drove an hour each way to go here. I had been before and liked it. They had a flower on special I liked on the web site, so I drove out there. When I arrived they told me I was wrong. That the item I wanted could not have been on the web site for the price I quoted. I had 2 other employees come over and tell me I was wrong. I couldn't connect to the web with my phone and just had to believe them. Once I got home, I saw I was right, and the receptionist checked and confirmed I was right, and it was a mistake on their part. She would have the manager call me and make it right. They never did. I wasted time and gas, just to be insulted and ignored. read more

Great product line, great service, great products, including prepackaged, and packaged by themselves. I'm a fan of moon rocks and smoke them from a pipe. One of the best things about it is, if you come in the morning Monday through Thursday, you get a 25% discount read more

this place garbage fr . It's always better to go in a dispensary and look at what to get because their website is buns and is falsely advertised. the front desk lady over the phone is no help either, you should speak to someone who actually deals with the weed not someone who checks iDs at the door. The weed i oder online was straight dirt look at the picture or what i thought id get & what i got . If it wasn't for me going up there i doubt anything would've been resolved because my delivery driver & trainee said they "was not comfortable coming back. after i was very respectful and nice when they came , i have the ring footage . When i came in to talk to the manager after almost blowing my lid in the store he was very respectful & cool & made me calm down . i gave it 1 star tho because they could've took care of me better especially with me doing a new customer , tryna sell me some dog nuts when th rabbit what i order is outta pocket. read more

The selection is amazing and the service is immaculate. This will always be my go-to place. Thank you Gatsby!

So much smaller than I expected (as I had my car serviced here back in the day) as there is no privacy whatsoever (the guy two feet away was from South Carolina visiting family, you get the picture). Decent- not great- selection. Prices are a good 10% to 20% higher than Ferndale. Still haven't received the text regarding the loyalty program (it was kind of confusing so looked forward to reading about it). Good for small or quick purchases but won't be my main store. read more
