My in laws and I all decided to come here for lunch. The location was way to find and the parking was no issue. Inside is colorful and family friendly We all sat down fairly quick. We asked our waitress if she could push our daughter's food and she did just that.. her food was done very quickly. It did not stop her from throwing a fit but the staff were joking and didn't mind even thought we felt embarrassed. Gotta love the terrible twos. I got the Buffalo chicken wrap. Review Visit: July 11th, 2016 Fear not, there are no gator spirits here. On a day trip to Catfish Bend Casino, a friend and I needed food before we lost (or won) a few bucks. We usually open Yelp and play a game where we pick a place with good reviews and one that sounds interesting. On this particular trip, we both wanted burgers and after much debating, we ended up picking Gators. Was it a good choice? Yes and no. It was early in the week and we arrived at the tail end of the lunch rush, so it wasn't too crowded but not totally empty. With that in mind, we were seated promptly and received great customer service with it being in that post-lunch hour. I believe we both ordered bacon cheese burgers, as that is our weakness and our usual go-to at new places. You can never go wrong with bacon. :3 And this burger was no exception. It was good. Not entirely fantastic or great, but it was good and filled our bellies. The fries were also good. Nothing out-of-this-world, but good enough to compliment the burger. I just remember the meat of the burger could've used a bit of flavoring. The decor of the place was fun and unique. There was some gator-themed things throughout the place. If I remember right, there was also a lobster/fish tank somewhere in there. I believe it was kind of dark and murky, so the photo I took of it years ago came out terrible, so I deleted it. So, if you need a place to get some decent food and to visit a cool themed place, Gator's won't steer you wrong. Honestly, it might be the best place to eat since Burlington (in all my traveling/exploring) doesn't have much to do. If you know of any secret fun things to do there, please let me know. read more

In town for my oldest daughter's softball tournament and we stopped here for lunch. In a matter of minutes this place got absolutely packed! They handled our party of 20 very efficiently. The service was amazing! I was looking forward to the tenderloin since it was homemade, but it was very thin and tough in spots due to the thiness. It had more breading than meat over most of it. I always order the tenderloin when i see its homemade and my experience was sub compared to other establishments. The place was clean and the staff was amazing! Food was good for the price and table service was excellent. Getting seated was a bit of a problem though. We had reservation but were seated late. The hostess said that they were overbooked and that they always overbook. I found this be a flimsy excuse, as there were several families that showed up without reservations. The volume of those customers was more than enough to fill the tables if people who made reservations, but did not show. I had a Rueben sandwich and it was the first one that I've has in years that was actually grilled properly. My mother was pleased with her sandwich and my stepfather liked the pasta. read more

One of my favorite restaurants in Burlington. They've got so many different cuisines. If you're vegan, you can customize a salad or pasta without meat or get a veggie burger without cheese. The burger tastes like a Morningstar patty but it is very good. Priced very well at just about $9 too. I hope that in the future they will add more veggie options though read more

The staff are always smiley and friendly. Everytime I come here they make you smile at least once. It's a very well kept, clean place. It's so nicely decorated and they have this gator in the entrance in a tank (my favorite part of eating there) i go here alot with family and date nights with my husband on occasion. Gator's was my family's choice for post-funeral, celebration of life dinner for my grandma. She would of been so pleased to see my family come together in honor of her. The Gator's staff put our party (about 20ish of us) in the back room area, which I thought was a perfect option for our family. We did come mid-afternoon and filed in and order periodically, which I am sure was challenging for the wait staff. I thought they did the absolute best they could with such a large party and situation. Kudos to them. Food was good, nothing bad to report on my end. We ordered the sampler app platter, lots of fried food options. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and cottage cheese. It was actually better than I expected and I would recommend. I am a local, and went to gators way back in the mid 90s when they had crab leg fridays. this was back when it was in the fairway center area. I have gone on and off since it moved over by KFC. I dont want to be mean but it seems like this has gone from a place you go for a special treat, to a place that is basically what you can heat up in a microwave. There was nothing tender about the tenderloin i had tonight. Seemed like an oversized pringle between two buns. Fries were greasy and tomato for tenderloin was white. Picked a hair off my fries, which i assumed could have been from my late cat who has been gone for 3 years. RIP Kitty. Staff was great, and they keep the place clean. This place has some work to do. In all fairness, I was with a party of 16 and there was another big party next to us in addition to a Saturday night crowd. It was busy so there is certainly some appeal. I tried the electric lemonade, that was yummy. I ordered the crab Louie salad. It came with a pile of mozzarella on top which even for a cheese lover, was not appealing. Those in our group reported cold food, steaks that were over done, not done at all, etc. On a positive note, they did a birthday dessert and song for our birthday person. The mussels in garlic white wine sauce were actually really good for being so far inland haha -I live near the ocean. The prime rib was spot on everything was perfect - au jus, broccoli, mashed w/gravy and raw horseradish. Definitely recommend if you are looking for prime rib! I was going to skip over coming here as its rating was relatively lower than several other choices and they didn't have an online menu, but the hotel desk clerk pointed me in this direction.
