We explained the urgency, but nothing...No thanks D & D! As a result, we used Google to find a garage door repair service with great reviews, that has been locally owned since 1990. Tyler and Casey had it totally repaired in about an hour. They inspected and repaired everything including the springs, tension, torque, bearings, alignment, cable, and even replaced a connecting piece from the chain drive that was damaged in the storm. In addition, they arrived within 90 minutes after my phone call on a Monday (after the weekend when more emergencies occur). Here's their website: https://www.garageservicetoday.net/ They also have an online coupon that I was able to use, and save ($25) off the total fee. We wrote a check and also saved the 3% credit card fee. Overall, I highly recommend Garage Service Today without any reservations. Tyler Wilson has doing this type of work for over 10 years and it shows. Give them a try, since you won't be disappointed.

I called 3 garage door repair places for an estimate. The first two recommended a new door, one wouldn't fix it, the 2nd said it would cost more than half the cost of a new door to fix it. Frank was the 3rd company. He came, looked at it and said he can do this. He changed both lifting cables, adjusted the springs, etc and the door works better than it has in years. His charge to me was $95, versus $1500 and $1200 estimates for a new door. I wholeheartedly recommend Frank as the guy to call for an expert fix to any garage door problem you may have.
