Garage door broke, from Ian car stuck inside!! Caden was there pronto! Very Sharp young man!! Fixed !! Would highly recommend this service read more

Be aware. Be very aware. We had their service 3 months ago and were very happy. They replaced cables and did everything but the spring replaced. . BUT. Today had problems with door not opening or being able to get it open. It probably was a sensor problem. Repairman. Tried to upscale us and get us to pay for. New cables again. Either the cables replaced 3 months ago were done incorrectly or he was scamming us. Plus, they were not quite bright. They could have looked up our address and seen the previous work done. So moral of the story They will up sale you. Be aware very aware!! read more

I got lucky when I spotted the bright colorful sticker on my garage door from Garage Service Today. The previous owners had them service the door. I called the Bradenton # and spoke to a gentleman that suggested that I call their main office. I was trying to find out if they had the manufacturer and model # of my garage door. YES, they did. In minutes Trina pulled up the details by my address. She was incredibly helpful with the information and the suggestion of contact CLOPAY for Wind Ratings for my Wind Mitigation Test. Trina was polite and exhibited the attitude that she would help me in any way that she could. With her information and some assistance from CLOPAY on my hurricane reinforced garage door, I'll fully qualify for added insurance discounts. When I said something to my neighbor about my experience, he said, "Oh yea, they have a good reputation and they do great work." I hope that the owner of this company truly appreciates their office manager Trina. When my garage door springs pop or my opener's motor starts to die, I will definitely look for that colorful sticker and call in for an appointment. THANK YOU TRINA & Garage Service Today! read more

So I would say this is one exceptional company. Spring broke on our garage door. We're in Peridia - Bradenton. Nobody ever thinks about garage doors till they break (me included). Anyway - called around - Long holiday weekend is coming up - 3 other companies all said I would have to wait till after the long weekend. Richard (owner?) at Garage Service Today said he would take care of it today! Great - In addition, this is a family business - we always try to support family companies when possible. So Caden the tech called first about an hour later - was here on time - showed me the problems, did the work - showed me what was done and now the garage door is running beautifully. We also got 2 new remotes. Prompt - very courteous - and obviously they know what they are doing. read more

Garage Service Today - Caden Hutchins - our amazing service tech that fixed our garage door - on time - very courteous - and a great repair job. Door runs smooth! - Garage Door Services Near Me - North Venice, Florida

To be honest, a one star is too much to be given to this company. The owner "Richard" if that is his real name was rude, obnoxious, and has the worst customer service reputation for a company that states - "Customer Satisfaction Remains our #1 Priority". That is a bunch of bullshit if you ask me! My mother had a garage door installed on Oct 22nd 2020 and the next day the garage door did not work. My mom called and explained the issue and was told she needed to pay an additional $500 for a new motor. Richard did not look at the motor nor was he on the property to see if it was even the motor that was the issue. When my mom said she was not going to pay an additional $500 Richard chuckled and said well that's just fine. She was furious with Richard's non nonchalant and non caring attitude that she hung up the phone. My mom is 75 years old and to be treated with such disrespect is beyond belief! I feel my mom was being taken advantage because of her age and you Richard should be ashamed!! I called today to remedy the situation and get some answers to the questions I had and Richard was again very rude and obnoxious! He had the audacity to interrupt me, laugh and tell me I was a third party calling and I had no life! He then hung up on me...who does this?!?!? I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this company to anyone!! The so called owner Richard should not be in business! read more

They were on time, did a great job and finished within the hour. A bit pricier that I would have hoped but no complaints at all!

RUDE customer service. Called to get a quote on a new door and since it's a high priced door they said they would have to have his distributor give him a price. I had the exact model I wanted. Once he knew it was going to take him a little work he got rude and just threw out a ridiculous high price at me like I was wasting his time and I couldn't afford this door. What an A**. I told him I had already gotten a quote and he was way off in his guesstimate and in mid-sentence he hung up on me. I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! read more

This has been the worst experience for me as a homeowner two ass garage service today to come out. Customer service which is delegated by a man name Richard there's no sense of community or to cover your mistakes or even to be kind on the telephone. I would call somebody else!! read more

Called garage service today to check out our garage door. It would go up or down all the way. The tech came out looked and told my wife it was cables the pulled the door up that was caused the problems and it would be $300.00. My wife ask was he sure and he said yes. Well after he fixed the cables and realized it was still doing the same thing he then said it was the actual box that controls everything and it would be $500.00 to fix. $500.00 on top of what he already charged her for his misdiagnosed issue first. He should have just said well since you already paid 300 and it was my mistake just give me two hundred more and I'll fix the motor. NO! He wanted 300 on top of that. Then he made it his business to put his stickers all over my garage door and all about his company. I would never recommend Garage Service Today to anyone ! STAY AWAY!!! read more

Fast service! I called at 11:00 and they were there within an hour! They explained exactly what the problem was and what it would take to get my garage door working smoothly. Will definitely use them again, and highly recommend Garage Service Today to anyone with a garage door issue-big or small. read more

Our existing garage door opener (26 years old) was giving us fits, remote would not work, lights did not work, etc. Called this firm on Friday and Monday they were here at 11AM. Evaluated problems and advised that our unit cannot be repaired, circuit board, etc. Asked for a quote to install entire new unit which was reasonable and the worker, Tyler, who we cannot say enough good things about, immediately went to work dismantling old and installing new. Within an hour an entire new unit was in place, with outside remote and 2 clicker units working. Tyler was incredibly professional, efficient, thorough and explained the entire working of the unit and was gone within total 1-1/2 hours. I give them 5 stars and would not hesitate to recommend to all needing garage door repairs. read more

Rude...Unprofessional and he tries to sell you things that you don't need. Stay away if you do not want to get ripped off. Gave an estimate that was almost doubled of what I was charged by a REAL garage door repair company. read more

This company, Garage Service Today, ( 941 955-9441) has always responded in a timely manner and with good results. Today, Richard came to replace a board in the control unit, we thought it might have been burned out, however, that did not fix it. After troubleshooting the problem he did not give up or try to sell me a whole new unit for $450.00, rather, he said.. "let me check one more thing.." he found the problem by checking the wiring to the sensors and sure enough, he found the wire was shorting out during the down cycle of the door, He repaired the wire and the door is working as it should. Great Job Richard and the company as a whole! read more

We called late afternoon on a Friday in May after my husband backed up into the garage door as it was going up. He broke the chain with his car roof. It had to be repaired because we could not open or close the garage door. We called Garage Service Today. They came out within 2.5 hours. Two guys came out and repaired the door within about 1 hour. We got 2 new remotes and a new keypad - both of which we needed. One of the features of the new LiftMaster opener is that you can open or close the door from anywhere in the world with an app on your smart phone. A few weeks later my wife was in Italy. I stayed in the states. As we talked on the phone, I asked her to try to open and close the garage door from Italy. It worked ! From Italy ! Also, the cell phone app will alert you if your garage door has been opened if you are not home. The garage door technicians helped us set up the cell phone app before they left for the evening. This is a great feature to have. A good sense of security. read more
