Great Experience! Highly recommended this place , my kid loved it! Food was good too.

Friendly, and knowledgeable staff! Austin answered all of our questions and more!! We will definitely visit again if we ever make it back to the area. My 9 year old loved the experience and the 18 year old managed to have some fun too! Thanks guys!!! read more

Great way to spend 45 minutes. They have an elevator to the main dining area / gift shop. But then there's a couple steps to the alligator area. There might be another my the arcade. It's free to look around and listen to the show. The shows are every two hours more or less. The whole place was very busy and congested. They have 200 alligators in different stages of life. The alligators are from local farms and then give them to nature preserves when they age out. You can get a pole and food for $5 but the gators seemed well feed. You can also get a photo with a baby gator (taped mouth) for $. read more

It was such a cool experience! We got to feed gators and my sons got to take a picture with Ronald! He was adorable! Amelia and Star were so great and retook the photo due to my son's glasses glare. They were so nice and knowledgeable! I also had an issue with my frame and the girl at the desk fixed the problem without issue! The staff here are amazing and I recommend stopping in to eat or visit the gators 10 out of 10! read more

You can feed and hold gators before or after the arcade. It was a great experience for a great price. read more

This place met our needs for "seeing" gators but it definitely leaves a lot to be desired. We came on a Monday and the place was packed which is great for business. We made our way outside and downstairs to see the various gator exhibits. The kids enjoyed looking at them. For $5.00 you can feed the baby gators. They were tiny but adorable nonetheless. We spent about 15 minutes total inside and then left. If you are in the area it's a fun place to visit. It's free to come in, and parking is plentiful. read more

Viewing the hatchlings, yearlings, and 2-5 year olds is free. There is an option to hold a yearling and take a photo for an additional charge. My friend opted for that and the photographer/ handler was very knowledgeable. The photo alligator had its snout taped shut with electrical tape but sticky side up. All the hatchlings are purchased from a farm and they are raised until about 5 years old, then they are transferred to zoos. I do t understand why anyone would give less than 5 stars for this free activity. I didn't see accessible access ramps so might have to leave grandpa at home. read more

We had so much fun here, maybe a little concerning how many gators they have in a small space.

Kids loved the free show and learned a lot about Gators. There is also a EV charging station right next to it. So got my car charged while visiting it read more

Great place to stop in and learn about alligators! We had time to kill before heading to the airport and decided to come watch the free alligator show! We stayed about 30 minutes. They have a restaurant & everyone seemed nice and courteous. We walked around the gift store and found a coffee cup to take home. The playground looks like fun and appeared to be free too. I would bring kids here and expect to spend some money on the souvenirs and the cute take home decorative cups. read more

Neat experience. I think I read somewhere that there are 100 juvenile gators! The hatchlings were cool to see. Lots of displays and info on gators. We didn't see the show and didn't eat. You could tour around for 45 min and be done. I was concerned about habitation. The alligators don't have any enrichment in their pens. Made me feel sorry that they don't have much space to swim and explore. Also the water was extremely dirty. Did see turtles swimming as well. read more

Good for kids. Kiddo loved it. A bit pricey for food but it was good. the free educational show and displays are super cool and worth it. Small alergators were very cool too. Very Friendly and awesome staff very cool place. Recommended. read more

A very interesting place to visit. Many small alligators roaming around, and the visitors can also feed the gators or even hold them ( yes, the mouth is taped closed) . We took many cool photos and good video of the feeding, then we went upstairs to eat at the restaurant (yes, we ordered fried gator)... read more

A little hard to find because it's not what you would expect. It's located in a bar/arcade type business. Signage on the building is visible, but not much from the street. Glad we stopped. While we did see alot of gators, many were small. There's displays of faux taxidermy of other animals as well. Kids will enjoy it, as well as the fact that you can graffiti on the walls of the establishment. For a fee you can feed the gators with a pole. Best part is admission is free! A good way to kill 30 minutes if seeing the gators only. read more

Wow! What a fun stop! Whether you're a local or a tourist in Destin, Gator Beach is a fun time. ***We didn't try any food or drink, but only enjoyed the alligator activities. Viewing the alligators and watching the live educational + feeding shows is all FREE! (Shows are at noon, 2pm and 4pm with a fact or fiction game show at 6pm.) Feeding the alligators is $4 for 4 pieces and a "fishing pole". Taking a photo with a baby gator (with its mouth taped shut) is $10 for a 5x7 print. Show host was super fun and friendly. Picture service was slow, but they kept a calm environment for the gator, which I appreciate! :) read more

The food really wasn't impressive. Everything is fried!!! And not a yummy fried but overly fried and not impressed. We were there in December and the gators were sleeping they just go into sleep mode after thanksgiving. The little gators were cute and moving. Happy to see them at least. Our waitress was awesome but nothing really impressive. Order a salad and enjoy this little dive. Wasn't super horrible but a one hitter for me. read more

It's a 4 at most. Not much to see or do. If you've been to other gator spots such as gatorama this place doesn't even compare. You'll be done with gator beach in 15 mins max. We did the VIP tour with two boys (7& 10). Was the highlight of our trip. It would be easy for this to be a tourist trap and be lame, it it was awesome. Chris and Caleb, our guides, were super knowledgeable and made the tour fun for kids and adults. Got to feed the animals raw meat and manufactured food. I would definitely recommend. I'd say ideal for ages 5-12. read more

It's connected with Fudpuckers. Yes, it's free, or you can pay for gator bait that you can dangle in front of them. All baby gators, no larger ones. $15 for a photo holding a baby gator. The show is informative, but kind of boring honestly. Free though, so you "get what you pay for." Happy we went for a few minutes but don't go expecting to be impressed. One of those things that if it's convenient and you have a few minutes, I'd do it, but don't plan to make it an outing. read more

My 9 yr old son loved it! It's free to get in and in there you can buy food to feed the gators.

This place wasn't what I was expecting, but not in a bad way. It's completely free to see the gators so we parked and walked up the ramp. It took us a while to realize we could go inside to get to the other ramps. There's so many different views of the gators which is really neat. There had to be at least 20 gators if not more. I read on their website that they rescue gators from gator farms who only plan to use them for their skin. I don't know enough about caring for gators to know if they were well taken care of, but on the surface level it appeared so. There's plenty of safety precautions as well-- we felt very safe. I think this is worth checking out if you're nearby, where else can you safely see gators this close for free? read more

We went here for the gator experience. We didn't eat at the restaurant so I can't speak for that part of the establishment. Staff were friendly enough. They are renovating the upstairs porch area so certain areas were blocked off and the entrance to the gator area was through the emergency exit. It was a cooler day (upper 60's to low 70's) so the big gators were not active at all. They were all resting. Many other visitors were attempting to feed them with their little gator poles but none of the gators made a move or attempt to eat. They were still cool to look at though There are indoor exhibits for smaller hatchlings/yearlings and they seemed slightly more active and were fun to watch. We did see a few of the smaller gators had some possible health defects or issues. One was missing its front arm. Another was missing part of its tail. They had a medium exhibit for their 3 "magical gators" I think their names were salty, pepper, and lil sugar. But there was no sign or staff member that could tell us about them or what made them magical (I'm assuming it was their pigment). We made it just in time for one of the showings but they were having technical difficulties with thier stereo system. Instead the staff brought out one of the yearlings and allowed visitors to look/touch and ask questions. That was the most fun of the entire experience. Did we have fun? Yes. Would we got back? Maybe read more

This is a great, free, and safe place to see alligators. It's connected to a restaurant which you don't have to eat in to see them. Upon coming in, you can already see the alligators down below. The stairs go further down, but you enter through doors where the receptionist is. When you go through the doors, there's an outdoor bar and a ramp winds down getting you to see the alligators closer. You can also feed them and/or take pictures. There's also an exhibit area where there's an albino alligator. It's a cool attraction. My kids liked it too even though we were all freaked out. There's also a gift shop. It's worth going to. It's an hour away from Gulf Breeze/Navarre. read more
