It's difficult to do clinic reviews because so much of it is tied to your particular care provider (i.e. doctor, nurse, physical therapist, etc.). In my first visit to OSI, I wanted to get my knee assessed before deciding on surgery. OSI has a $30 assessment visit that is for an hour. The therapist I saw for that visit said I had some obvious weakness in my knee, but also focused in on the fact that my legs weren't aligned correctly. She recommended all kinds of corrective physical therapy before surgery as well expensive sole inserts for my shoes. Fortunately, after my surgery, I got paired with a different and much better physical therapist in Tara. UNfortunately, she's not at this location anymore. In fact, I heard she moved back to her native South Dakota. Tara was great. Very professional, very friendly, and answered all my questions and concerns with patience. I asked her about my leg alignment during one appointment and she said it was a bit off but if it's not bothering me, it's best not to mess with it. Great philosophy. I was glad that I was able to complete my physical therapy before she left and I only found out she was gone when I stopped in to say hi a few weeks later. The clinic itself isn't bad. They have some private rooms and a larger area with a bunch of different kinds of equipment for general physical therapy use. I didn't like doing my exercises in the big room with others watching, although, most of the time it was just one or two other physical therapists hanging about. I think there was only one other time where there was another patient in the room. Given that I was working on my knee, I was on their exercise bike for 5 mins before each appointment. They had fancy exercise bikes with fancy readouts which, I would assume, included a timed workout. But they would always give me a digital kitchen timer to time my biking instead. I don't know if they didn't know how to work the bike electronics, or if they just weren't working. The receptionists and assistants were always smiley and friendly and knew who I was after the first few appointments so I didn't have to always tell them my name when I checked in. It's nice to know that they're paying some attention to you week in and week out. Overall, a nice clinic and a good location. I give the facility 4 stars and my "real" personal physical therapist 5 stars. Since there are no half stars, and because of my first experience there, I have to average down.

Dr. Holgers has been so amazing and incredibly helpful to me, finally getting me answers and finding solutions to the pain that I've been having for many, many years. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable and thorough, but he is super friendly and personable, and he never rushes through the appointment. In fact, he's the first doctor that I've ever seen that has asked me if there was anything else that I wanted to address at what would have otherwise been the end of my appointment. At that moment I knew that Dr. Holgers was actually invested in making me healthier and pain-free. I was referred to Dr. Ruff for a neurosurgery consult and again was so impressed. She explained in great detail the surgery, as well as the pros and cons and was excellent at answering my questions and concerns. She was very friendly, clearly knowledgeable, and obviously committed to helping me make the best decision for me. I've also had two procedures performed here by Dr. Fredericks that had great outcomes. But just as importantly, the procedures themselves went very smoothly. Dr. Fredericks explained his every step so I was always aware of what was happening and exactly what to expect. He was very patient with my questions, he laughed at my really bad jokes, realized I was probably a bit nervous, and kept the atmosphere light and fun, rather than all serious and sterile...All the while performing very intricate and precise, but most importantly successful pain-relieving procedures. Lastly, this clinic also has a great physical therapy department. I worked with Johnathan and he was friendly, fun and great at motivating me, as well as great at explaining the mechanics of the body and how the exercises I was doing would affect my back and neck pain. Also, the Med X system that I completed was great and especially helpful for strengthening my neck and relieving neck pain. Overall, I (clearly) am thrilled to have found this Spine Clinic and the doctors and therapists there. I feel like I am finally on the path to a future free of back and neck pain and I am so thankful for all those at the M Health Fairview Spine Clinic who have helped me get to this point! The front reception people were friendly, the registration areas are private which I love, and everything went smooth as silk. The doctor I saw, Dr. Holgers was incredible. He listened to me, sent me for a CT and labs, and quite possibly might be the person who has helped me the most ever in the diagnosis of what has been causing this pain for years. I first met Vedran in 2007 after a car accident and had to be in Physical Therapy, and he was my…read moremassage therapist. Ever since then I literally don't want to go to anyone else! This guy knows what he's doing. He's very patient, and is extremely knowledgeable. He uses several different techniques, and listens to you and your concerns and works on the areas YOU want to have worked on. I've had some crummy massages from different therapists in the past, but nothing compares to Vedran. Other people have you come in and do the job... but it's not the same connection that I've had with him. Once you get to know him he's pretty funny, and a great guy. He has literally given me the best massages I've ever had. No wonder I've been going to him for the last 4 years! I moved to the Bay Area a year ago, and I've been home 2 times, and both times I made appointments at Peace is at Hand. That's definitely one thing I miss in Minneapolis! I greatly look forward to my appointments with him. He has become my trusted massage therapist, and friend. I highly recommend him to all friends, family, and future clients. Give him a try! In addition to a fine deep tissue full body massage, he spent additional time with me on stretches that would address my tightness. The studio is clean and spacious. The massage room is very comfortable. Masks required during face-up massage. I live out-of-state but would gladly return.
