My check up with the dentist indicated I needed some crowns - which I was expecting . Crown first appointment was painless and I was so impressed with the up to date technology they use. The temporary crowns they placed fit perfectly. Looking forward to my final visit this week to see my shiny new crowns. Office personnel very friendly and helpful.

I received Mercury poisoning from this horrible dentist Isabel Pimentel at Beloit Dental when she…read moredrilled into my silver fillings for almost two hours for a cavity. Those silver fillings are called Amalgams, basically half silver and half Mercury. The World Health Organization states that when a dentist drills into those fillings, it creates friction and heat, which releases Mercury poisonous vapors back into a persons lungs at up to 1,000 times above the safe level. The E.P.A states Mercury is the most toxic substance on the planet earth after radiation. I did not know this at the time, but this dentist knew all the controversies, but she was too vain to alert me, and did not care about my health, only the $1,400 she would receive for the faulty work. There are dentist that belong to the I.A.O.M.T that use precautions, proceedures, and equipment to do this work. Each week for two months the Mercury poisoning was incrementally damaging my entire body, I thought I was on my way to die. Much of my body began to recover after many months, but there is no cure, because the Mercury settles into fat cells of the entire body and brain, and never comes out. The brain is 80% fat. I am left with pressure in my head and tired alot, thanks to this vain person. Long term problems I have read are memory problems, dysfuntion in the immune system, kidney ailments, chronic fatigue, allergies, cardiovascular problems, alzheimers, antibiotic resistance, hearing loss, etc. I did not write this to hurt Isabel Pimental, but to save you from what I went thru and going thru. There are other areas about this dentist, but another time. May God guide you in your research, and hold Isabel Pimental to respectable humane standards. My advice about this dentist , run and do not look back !

I thought I had cavities but my teeth were stained from all the coke a cola and coffee. Marg is my dental hygienist and she has just been the sweetest. Remembers everything you say and makes you feel valued. I feel comfortable to be honest when I have to admit I haven't been flossing I dislike change when it comes to my dentist and doctors. Dr O'brien has brought in Dr Joshi. I was not interested in having someone else pick around in my mouth. Someone who hasn't spent years building a good patient/dentist relationship. But as all things do, I had to except that things change. Dr Joshi is darn near perfect. When I say perfect, I mean like he is very good at matching your color to your new porcelain. Gentle and patient. I was actually really impressed. I do love DR O'brien because he tolerates me asking him a million questions to keep him chatty while working on my teeth. It keeps me distracted from what's going on and it's also fun to hear or others travels right. I have read a lot of reviews about them saying things needed to be done that actually didn't. I have never had an experience like that. Actually the opposite. If they want more X-rays they have taken on the cost. When I was younger and broke starting out in life I felt the dentist worked well with me. This dentist also took great care of my son over the years. And my son loved going to the dentist. Never complained once. I now live over an hour from this business. I continue to make the drive. My husband thinks I'm nuts to not find a new local dentist. But I can't. To many years. A strong relationship built. Totally worth the drive to work with a team that knows and understands you. Wouldn't want to make that change ever.

This never happened with my prior dentist, and bothered me. My mom wouldn't believe that the dentist was scamming us and in fact harming me. Well, I am on my own now, and have been going to another dentist for quite some time now. Interestingly enough, all the cavities have stopped, despite me still maintaining the same dental routine I have had since I was ten years old. Not only do these guys cost more, they will literally drill your teeth out for no other reason than to make an extra buck. I will always feel as though I have been robbed of both my money and own teeth from this place.

I had dental pain present and asked for an assessment of that to be scheduled with my cleaning. Apparently, the young, inexperienced receptionist kept having to put me on hold, unable to answer simple questions. Turns out she didn't schedule me for a cleaning either. The hygienist or tech seemed like it was her first day on the job too. There was an unsettling feeling in their office between their staff. You could actually feel it. It was probably due mostly to the fact that Dr. Cain/Cane was rude and had no bedside manner. I was hoping maybe he was just like that because he was focused on his work and was a no nonsense, skilled dentist. That was not the case. He came into the room, didn't say hello, didn't introduce himself and acted like he hated his job. I had to ask multiple questions because he was not forthcoming with his findings. He just stared at the X-rays in silence. I work in the medical field, so most of the questions I think I ask are legitimate because I understand basic dental health. When he was done, he just walked out of the room, didn't tell me he was done or details of my treatment plan. I had to call him back in for a question about my pain and what I should do until I get in with a specialist. He said, "Ummm, brush your teeth." and he chuckled and shrugged his shoulders, like I was an idiot. I had good insurance and was willing to pay out of pocket for whatever wasn't covered but I went elsewhere. And the specialist he referred me to had terrible reviews and couldn't get me in for over a month out just for a consult, when I was having a lot of pain. I went elsewhere, to a further dentist and it was so worth it.
