On the phone they told him it would cost him $214, that what they did wasn't under warranty. They changed the oil and sharpened the blades and charged him for the pickup. My husband always changed the oil in his lawnmowers, the blades didn't need sharpening and everything they did, they did not call us to approve! If it were your car the dealer checks with you before they do anything! Right? I agree a service charge for looking at it. But they charged for all of it without approval! I do believe we should get a refund. As far as the warranty goes, it does not say that after 10 hrs oil "must"be changed. It says recommended! Our last John Deere lasted us 13 years!
