Instead of being helpful they have been greeting our family for 3 years in a row with rude comments and tones. They clearly don't like homeschooling parents and I'm pretty sure they filed our first year paperwork in the trash because they had NO records of them the following year!! As homeschooling parents we can be audited for that!! When we ask them to make us a copy of their signature because of their prior negligence, they said oh if we did it for you, we'd have to do it for everyone.. oh everyone that pays thousands in tax dollars to your district and our kids never see money from that?? You can't spare a .10 cent copy? Is the district really that hard up or are they that discriminating towards homeschooling families?? You only confirmed our choice in schools since them being the face of the school is piss poor and incredibly concerning. I believe this is Colebrookdale Elm, near the giant in Gilbertsville specifically. We don't attend there I just know it's where we have to turn in the paperwork, unfortunately for us.

EPCFA opened in September 2010 and it is awesome!! They have a dance studio, a large gym, a small…read moregym, a birthday party room and 2 places where parents can sit and watch their kids take class on large flat screen TVs. There are a bunch of classes listed on their website. I have not signed my son up for a class, but we have been enjoying open tumble for 1-5 year olds. They offer open tumble a few times a month. It is an hour long and it is $6. There are trampolines, ball pit, matts, parachutes, tunnels, and other fun things for your kids to climb and jump and run all over. I love going here, it wears my son out!!!! And he takes an amazing nap in the afternoon!!! The first few open tumbles i went to were fairly empty, but today there was a nice group of people. I have a feeling as it gets colder, it will get more crowded.

These kids were playing rough and running over the younger kids. This was ridiculous. Of course the parents of these older, out of control, kids did not even care. They were socializing and did not want to be bothered with keeping their kids away from the younger ones. Apparently the people who work at East Penn do not care what age group these kids are as long as they collect the $7.00 for these kids to play. I will not subject my kids to this anymore. I don't know what we would have done without this wonderful day care. We were new to this country and needed someone to take care of Kyra like home. Like every mother I am very careful when it comes to my daughter but along with that I am a cleanliness freak :). In the first 5 minutes of the tour in Goddard I knew this is where I could leave my daughter and be at work without being worried about her. Every person I have talked to in Goddard has left a smile on my face. With each day spent with you all, it has increased her confidence and made her independent. I cannot forget the small small things like in those first few days when I visited in lunch time to check on Kyra, I saw Maura (the owner) checking on Kyra and noticing how she is getting better with each day. Now the only problem is that you guys have set the benchmark so high that now I expect other day cares to be as sparkling clean as Goddard and it's a tough one. You guys are super AWESOME!!!!

His dorm is lovely (much nicer than my other son's dorm was at another school), his friends are fantastic, and he is thrilled to participate in activities. The campus has a genuine community feel. Academically, the professors care about students and make connections with them. The small class sizes and accessible faculty have meant that he has been offered opportunities that would not have been available to him at a larger schools. We feel confident that he is developing strong critical thinking, research, and communication skills that will prepare him for graduate school, which is his current trajectory. We are thrilled with the choir program (if your kid sings, join their choir!), which has been both enriching for him. We are also excited about the study abroad program he has applied to, as it reflects the school's commitment to global learning and academic exploration. If there is one area for continued growth, it would be investing in additional faculty and modest campus expansion, as the school's strong programs and close-knit environment would benefit from slightly increased capacity. Overall, this has been an excellent choice!

Just moved our son in and I was really disappointed with the cleanliness. His dorm room floor was…read morehorrible. I do not think it was mopped after the previous students moved out. The oven and fridge in the common room had spilled food in them and the counters were not wiped down...and this was on day 1! I expect that kind of thing mid-semester, but this seemed a bit much on the first day. Our son went to the gym and he said all the equipment looked like it needed a good cleaning as well. The people have been very nice so far and I have been pleased with the interactions he's had with administration, but I was disappointed on the cleanliness.
