I'm writing this review to let people know that hiring Rick Stiner to do any HVAC work is a BIG…read moremistake! I have personally witnessed his shady business practices. I couldn't believe it when I saw his worker soldering a 410-A high pressure A/C system together! That system requires brazing, because soldering will not hold! I asked his worker if he knew this and he said "yes, but that's how Rick wants it done". My guess is that he allows this because he knows most people do not know any difference. I'm sure he tells his worker to do this because it is cheaper and faster! Maybe he thinks he will get repeat business when a copper line gets bumped and the refrigerant leaks into the atmosphere, no refrigerant no cooling. Then he can charge the customer a ridiculous price to charge the system again! So if you want to pay a premium price for shady HVAC work, go ahead and hire Stiner's Plumbing.
