I go here once in a while when I need a car wash because it is convenient to where I live. There isn't usually a line so it is easy to get in an out. I always get the cheapest car wash since I seem to always get caught in the rain shortly after anyway. The price did increase and it is now $12. I think that is still a fair price, especially because they have great vacuums at the end to clean out the inside of your car. I do wish they had towels to get some of the spots missed by the brushes and to clean my mirrors. The employees are nice and keep the line moving quickly. I will continue going here for a good, efficient, and quick car wash! read more

Pretty good car wash. Quick in and out. It is good to see that the employees who stand in the tunnel are wearing ear protection. The wash does a pretty decent job rinsing the soap off my car. The vacuum stalls are nice. There is plenty of room between the cars and hoses on either side. They do not provide towels for you to wipe your car off though. read more

Things have changed. I have been using this car wash since they opened. They have been deteriorating in service and quality since that point until today, my last visit I'm sure. They have ELIMINATED a Rest Room! For most of us older folks, that spend a hour of so there in the middle of daily travel, this is an essential Customer Service. However their Manager tells me "there is no Public Rest Rooms"! I am a Customer! Not a walk off the street vagrant. To make things worse, I have been getting much less wash quality, sometimes brown dirt remains on one side of the car, the tire work has been almost non existent even when you pay for the extra service. I would say they are in decline and with policies and service like this they will be the low end provider in Jacksonville very soon, or going out of business. read more

The actual wash was good. The vacuums were strong. The staff seemed friendly. So why just three *? Complimentary micro-fiber towels have become standard at car washes today, especially at the $15 - $25 range washes but Gate apparently does not provide them for your finishing work. So, unless you either plan ahead or happen to drive around with a few in your car you cannot wipe down the interior or remove the stray water mark. For me this drops the value and places the great things much lower considering the price. read more

I visited this car wash on a pleasant day in January. I am accustomed to getting my car washed back home in a car wash that has been around since the 60s or 70s. New and modern, I pulled up to the gate. The pay kiosk indicated it took cash or credit. The instructions said they offered $5, $10, $15, or $20 washes. I read the instructions and selected my preference. No frills, just a cheap wash, I chose the $5 wash. Travel around the corner, pull up to the overhead door, wait for the attendant to position your vehicle and from then on, it's on automatic. After the wash, I pulled in to the (free) vacuum area and gave the front seat areas a good going over. They have a floor mat cleaning machine. Place the floor mat face down and push the button. A few seconds later and they are all clean. A nice car wash indeed! read more

I went to get my car washed the other day. When I went to dry my car off I noticed my front grill was missing. I informed the attendant and filed a claim. They denied my claim saying they're not liable. I talked to another patron who had their bumper snatched off during a car wash. I understand they can't be liable for everything that happens during a car wash, but bumpers and grills being knocked off is a little extreme and should be covered because there is clearly a defect in how their machines are operating. I will not go back to them again! read more

The monthly diamond package is effective for everyday sprucing with the tire shine but, don't expect anything extra or exceptional customer service, THAT DOES NOT EXIST HERE!! You get what you pay for and nothing else. If you see a car ahead of you having bug guts sprayed off before going through the wash, it is not free. They were in the circle of knowledge to know about it, paid for it and you are not even worthy to receive an offer. Even though these words were not spoken, it was DEFINITELY implied. And if you even think for a moment that you can request a bug repellant spray off, you will be told NO and that it is available for an upgrade that is only available if you know about it and ask for it. No worries though. If you have the monthly membership, you can have your car washed every day until the bug guts are completely washed off per the location's Manager. After speaking with her, I realized that common sense is not so common and that I did not have to continue to patronize this location. I have never been as dissatisfied with the treatment of someone in management as I was today. The only thing that prevents me from canceling my monthly membership is that I can use any service location other than the Emerson Street location which I will be doing whenever possible. read more

One of the settings have been adjusted to safely wash a car.Their car wash ripped factory installed trim off of my car, and the three levels of management didn't even apologize for the inconvenience before stating that they are self insured and would not consider a claim. They also wouldn't show me any of the videos they claim to have of my car being damaged. Never go here. read more

I have the basic membership that has just the necessary wash and it does quite well considering all the extra stuff you can get. If you don't want a membership, they have a car wash, dry, and free vacuum (with any wash) for JUST $5! You can add add-ons instead of buying a pricier package. The vacuum is very powerful and if you go often you don't have to vacuum for very long because it picks up everything really quick. My only complaint is that you cannot add any add-ons to your membership, but the more expensive membership is only $30/month and you get everything! Can't wait until they start opening up more. :) read more

Worst car wash, didn't get my truck clean at all and lazy ass workers. Never coming back, better off not ever coming to this place again.

I go to get my car washed today, no problem.. it was dead. I pulled up to pay and proceeded to select a car wash of my desire. Paid, and drove to the entrance of the wash. No one was present, so I continued to drive up and place my car is neutral and took my foot off the gas. Nothing happened. Two minutes later, a guy walks out and signaled me to roll down my window. He explained to me I should have not entered unless there was someone to wave me in. I looked at him how was I to know that he I told him that wasn't my problem, you should've been here whenever I drove up, not on break talking to your coworkers. It's not my fault you were on break and waited two minutes to come outside to wave me in. Next time be polite to your customers. Also when I went to vacuum my car out, I had to move twice because the vacuums were stopped up and didn't have any suction. I would expect from a new car wash to have better service, never go to this car wash! read more
