I went on a sunny day back in June 2017 and took a seat out on the patio. I was pleasantly surprised to see some locals sit down outside with their dog - a friendly Bernese who was very well-behaved. For my main, I got the prawns with grilled vegetables and a side of sautéed maize (or corn, as some people call it) and left nothing on my plate. The restaurant is definitely on the expensive side, but the quality of their cuisine has earned Rancho a deserved reputation among locals as the single best restaurant in Siegen.

The steak was perfectly prepared; while not the highest quality of meat I've ever had, it was still good. The sides were all flavorful and the ambiance was perfect for conversation.
