We entered without reservations at dinner time and were greeted with a smile and shown to a table. Our waitress was pleasant and told us about the specials then took our drink orders, giving us time to decide on our meals, no rushing. I had the pig knuckle which was one of their specialties. It was really good, tasting more like rotisserie chicken dark meat than pork or ham. The side dish of potato salad was also very good, without too much mustard. My wife enjoyed a very large Mediterranean salad with plenty of feta cheese and Kalamata olives. Closed off the meal with a great molten cake with ice cream. We sat inside which had a nice uncluttered and roomy atmosphere with just enough Mosel river theme to it. We very much enjoyed Gastatte Noss. read more
