This place itself is straight out of that time period, you see. Even the burgers are made as identical to the past as possible and it's not strange to have a milkshake with your burger. The only thing it needed was some Wanda Jackson on the stereo and this place would be in business. They already were as a matter of fact. Despite being pretty much in the middle of nowhere, it was filling up fast and by the time 7pm came around, Sallie's was full to the brim. The burgers were tasty and delicious, the fries were plenty and mmmm, crispy and fine and the milkshakes left two of my friends full and happy-go-lucky about life. So if you're ever on the road this way and need to get your rockabilly burger on, this is surely the place to go.

Had the Pulled Pork and wife had the Tuna on a great Danish rye bread. Both were great, as well as the Founders on draft. Apparently the burger and breakfast/brunch foods are very good too, but this place fills up quick, so be sure to get a reservation in advance. When I think of chili fries, I think of fries topped with chili, not fries dusted with chili powder. The danny burger was not bad, but it did not blow my taste buds either. The redeeming factor was that the bacon was crisp and egg with runny yoke was also a plus. I am also used to becasked how I would like my burger cooked. The service of the young lady helped to give an extra star, but the food needs to bring that extra umph in flavor to stand out from the rest of the competition.
