I you don't you might wait for a while, but you are definitely be seated. I like the concept of giving your order. There are menu cards (one side in Danish, the other in English) with check-boxes. It makes the procedure faster. Of course the waiters can also help you out. Despite of how busy it is, the service is quite fast and the have a smile (you read that rest of Copenhagen waiters?). So far I have tried the Top Sirloin steak, the Bad Boy Burger and The Original American Spareribs. Nothing let me down! I will go back again and again! +they have Newcastle Brown on tap :D

The service was great, very attentive and fast, which is always a huge bonus, especially when you're a bit drunk... I am not totally sold on their cheese chips/fries only because the cheese wasn't melted enough, but man did it make for some fantastic drunk food! I had it with salsa which I mixed some of the chili sauce on the table into to cut through the cheese, and it was pretty damn good. I wasn't hungry enough for a burger too, so cheese chips/fries was all I ordered. I'll be back to try an actual burger one of these days as they have both vegan and vegetarian patties. It's also halal and can serve paleo buns consisting of portobello mushrooms, so it's a pretty big win-win for everybody.

We ordered from the sweet lady behind the counter and she had the food packed and ready to go shortly after. Since it was such a nice day, we took our paper bag to Assistens Kirkegård. Everything was nicely packed and didn't shift around at all in our short walk. I went with the Mohammed Ali which comes with double cheese, double bacon, pickles, and fried onions as well as the usual salad and tomatoes. The burger was wrapped in paper and also put in a paper box to keep it safe. Unfortunately I'd forgotten to ask for the beef to be cooked medium rare, but surprisingly it still tasted great. The whole wheat bun was a little dry but had a nice, nutty flavour. Cheese was perfectly melted and though the bacon was not crispy, it was a good burger as a whole. On Monday to Friday the meal price is 89 dkk after 4pm and the lunch special before that is 69 dkk. It includes fries and dip. This is great for those of us who don't normally like soda or would rather have a beer with it, as the drink is not included in the price. The fries were fine and as for the dip, well, I just wanted ketchup. I spooned a little bit of chili paste into the cup of ketchup before I left, so that perked things up a bit. I like that your meal can be so customizable here, much like Halifax, only Burgerklubben seems to execute it better and at a lower price. In addition to serving only halal meat, they also offer vegan and vegetarian patties, as well as portobello mushrooms for a paleo "bun," so everyone can enjoy food together. Without the feeling you're uncomfortably stroking someone's holy personal bubble/wasting their time... Call it superficial, but it makes me smile and is just another positive experience in my day. Sometimes that's all it takes if you're having a bad day. I have to say that the service here gave me that feeling. The lady working there--I guess the owner, Rikki, judging by someone's photo--was very sweet and accommodating, was checking up on us to make sure we were OK/liked our food, and just generally made me feel very welcome and happy to be there. For me, this really makes the difference when there are plenty of great cafes to choose from in Copenhagen. (Also, I would definitely want to feel this way about someone who was going to be helping me cleanse my body using juice.) So, not necessarily the place to grab a super fast coffee and zip off, as there was only one person at work, but I really appreciate the local feel, emphasis on fresh food, and very importantly the availability of lactose-free milk options! Shout out here to the alternative milks, homemade on-site. If you're not on friendly terms with lactose, like me, you've got plenty of options here. I tried cashew and sesame milk, both great and very mild tasting alternative milks. They are also unsweetened--love that. Drinks can be sweetened if that's your thing, though. I would love to try their coconut milk at some point. And finally: thanks for having real matcha! Definitely worth a return trip in my book.

I found this place thanks to Yelp…read more I took my small Yelp team (4ppl) to give it to try. I'm writing a review on behalf whole team. Place was surprisingly smaller than I tought. Anyway, nice simple design with some nice small details. We went there about 10. We ordered breakfast. All together we tried to order every single item from the breakfast (brunch) menu. Basically all items were very tasty and original. I loved the Matcha bowl (Matcha is a special green tea powder and here it was mixed with puréed avocado, banana, cashew milk and vanilla). Really unique. I'm always on the hunt for something unique and I found it in here. Added value in my perspective! So I recommend that you should definitely try that. I would like to mention also the healthy apple cake, which is not really apple cake at all, but it tasted excellent and I'm happy they didn't use too much sweetener. For a drink, we all ordered a flat white coffee. It was perfectly done and they add little art on the top. 4 coffees, 4 perfect hearts. It show a confident barista hand. Speaking about service- all servers were all very friendly, efficient and they perfectly knew their product. That's the key of success. It's a tiny looking place parallel to walking street & there are quite a few places around. The brunch served to us seemed very enticing & inviting which is a good feeling to have. I was very happy with the quality of good as well. Cannot complain at all. The staff here was very attentive & everytime we were out of bread or water it was refilled immediately. Also they paid attention to the tiniest of details which is rare but really good to see. I would surely recommend this place for brunch & price wise also seems to be pretty decent. ps: there is free wifi available too. Can't ask for more
