He is straight and to the point, doesn't jump to conclusions without facts to back it up. There are never any unnecessary tests done. Conservative all the way. If I have a question, his MA gets back to me before the end of the day. He is a no BS doctor. If you don't like what he has to say, ask questions, he'll tell you the truth, you don't like that find another Gastro. He won't waste your time with idle chatter. He's not there to be your friend, he's your Doctor and a fine one at that!

The appointment was a waste of my time for a Dr to make jokes, cash my insurance payout, while I still suffer the same symptoms. I waited three months, and 40 extra minutes to see a doctor Lin, who is obviously suffering from extreme gastric distress himself. Suggestions included: Change diet Exercise Try different types of fiber Enroll in counseling After going through the past--now five--years of changes to diet, exercise, and not getting results, I was told I would need to bring my complete medical record in. This appointment was a waste of time, no further tests were offered, and I spent 20 minutes listening to jokes about poop, being handed the same photocopied leaflets every gastroenterologist finds online, prints, and hands out. I would have been better off going to a local pharmacy for over the counter medication. At least they would advise against the Psyllium fiber Dr Lin suggested.

I waited a few minutes before I was called to finalize the check-in (pay the co-pay). After another, longer wait, Jasmine called my name and walked me to the examination room. She was personable and engaging in collecting and inputting required information. After Jasmine finished, I waited 10+ minutes for Dr Reddy, and passed a portion of the time by educating myself using the interactive wall computer screen. Dr. Reddy asked questions to clarify my reason for getting a colonoscopy and explained the process at a high level. He gave me opportunity to ask questions, and then walked me to the scheduling desk. Alex (of scheduling fame I have to believe) was the star of my visit. He provided all the prep details and worked out a solution for the pending change in my insurance provides. This building has been here about 2 years It is absolutely beautiful. Friendly staff, nice waiting area It even has a coffee shop where you can get fresh coffee and drinks and dessert. They reviewed a full and comprehensive medical history. Dr Mushahwar listened to me and answered all of my questions. I have full confidence in his diagnosis and plans for my treatment. He is even going as far as consulting my cardiologist and asking for a med clearance before beginning my procedure. I was so relieved to finally have an answer I actually cried on my way out.
