I most reverently do not recommend Dr. Yung. I found him extremely demeaning to me during my visit. His arrogance shows no bounds. He mocked my "problem" with the nurse in the room and showed no interest in truly helping me. I have crohn's disease and to go into details of why I was there is embarrassing to begin with but let us say he wasn't interested in my problem. Is there truly a caring Gastro around my area???? I've been dealing with pain for over a decade. Was in the hospital for a week in March and have been on 5 rounds of antibiotics since. Diagnosed in the hospital with diverticulitis. Dr. Yung put diagnosis 'bellyache' on my discharge paperwork and told me that pain is a normal part of being a young woman, that he doesn't anticipate finding any answers or solutions to my abdominal pain and that clearly no one has missed anything in the last decade because I am quote "Not dead yet" read more

Scheduling is an issue and then they insist you see the Dr. again prior to the procedure after just seeing the Dr. The staff who answers the calls are rude and that's if you can get through to anyone after all the recordings. I'm moving to another practice. read more

So, I don't usually one star a place. Not my thing, but the office staff here has got some problems. The doctors? They seem fine when you can reach them. Trying to get to get through to scheduling is a massive issue, however. I got a referral from my pcp, and someone tried to call, but I can't take calls at work. I needed to be able to reach someone while I was on lunch or on break, away from my job. When I finally did get hold of someone, the woman informed me in an extremely rude tone that she had tried to call me, and that I should have answered when she did. Okay then, I tried to get an appointment scheduled, and she required my insurance info, which I didn't have on me right then. That pretty much ended the discussion. Although I could bring the information with me to the appointment, she refused to help at all in any way. She clearly wanted nothing more to do with me. So, yea, I had a positive interaction the first time I was there, but the gatekeeping for this place and sense of entitlement from the office staff just isn't worth the hassle. They set a new standard for terrible care. Left them six messages, my pharmacy faxed them three times, my primary care called them.. no response. Finally stopped in to ask why this happened and the front desk treated me terribly. They have zero care for their patients. They give the entire medical industry a bad name. had records sent over THREE times with confirmation each time they were received and would get a call once they were reviewed. Never received a phone call and when I called to follow up they told me they didn't have my records. Went through this twice and finally got a call after the 3rd time of them being sent. That process alone took about 5 months. Went in for my consultation and the front desk was extremely rude. I let them know I forgot my wallet, but my insurance doesn't give cards, just a military ID. They confirmed that they had my insurance on file my still needed the card. I offered to go home and get it because i'd still make it back before my appt time. they said no. I offered to have my husband send pictures of it. They said no. I offered to pay out of pocket and they still said no because I didn't have my drivers license. They told me they'd have to reschedule. I asked if there was anything I could do because we were moving soon and then i'd have to start this whole process over again and the other girl up front said "well that's not our problem" Extremely rude, and would not recommend them AT ALL. read more

A referral from my PCP for a routine colonoscopy. I arrived at the scheduled time two weeks before the big event and gave the receptionist my identification and insurance information. Then I met with a nurse practitioner to go over my medical history. She sent me home with prep instructions. They were straightforward although it was difficult for me to consume as much liquid in the prescribed time as the procedure requires. With my daughter as chauffeur, I arrived on time for the colonoscopy and was taken to a curtained area where I answered the nurse's questions, changed into a gown and then had the line for the anesthetic put in place. Dr. Van Ness, who I had not met, came by to introduce himself and to answer any questions I might have. He then left, saying he'd see me in a few minutes. The anesthesiologist and another attendant wheeled me to the procedure room, got me in position, and started the "sleepitime" drip. Thirty minutes later I woke up in the recovery area. The doctor came by to give me the results, all good. I got dressed and was driven home. Both visits went quickly. The group is a fine-tuned machine, and every person I spoke with was businesslike, but also friendly and courteous. Time for the colonoscopy portal to portal, under 3 hours. read more

Went in for a consultation with Dr. Kenny Yung. He's a young Asian man who I found to have a terrific bedside manner. He's extremely pleasant, takes his time with you, and he always asks if you have questions. I later went in for a procedure and I had the same type of interaction with him. But here's the real bonus of this practice...after your first appointment someone sits down with you to review your insurance coverage. They also tell you how much you will be billed for. I've NEVER had a doctor's office do that for me in 36 years, and I think it's outstanding that they care about their patients enough to do that. 5 stars for them! read more

I wouldn't give Dr. Kenny Yung even 1 star if possible. I was very upset by my first and only visit. He had a smile and greater me pleasantly but did not explain the diagnosis he gave me. I had to go home and look online for details. He proceed to tell me there was nothing he could do for me then automatically scheduled another appointment for me. I had a list of medications that he "did not understand what they were or why I was taking them." Dr. Yung did not care to ask what they were or to possibly work with my current doctor. He kept saying that I am a healthy young woman when he knows nothing about me. My visit with Dr. Young was a waste of time and money in my opinion. I would not recommend him to anyone as he has a air of arrogance that leaves you feeling incompetent. The faces he was making as I told him my journey to try to get healthy was appalling. read more
