This place is located down two side streets with apartments on both sides and the left down to a…read moredead end where the walkway is to the restaurant. While several people rated this place with 5 stars my wife and I are thinking that people from the former East Germany have a lower standard. I ordered the Schweine Schnitzel which I could hear them pounding back in the kitchen which is a great sign. So, the Schnitzel was very fresh and very good. It was the fat Pommes (industrial french fries) and frozen mixed vegetables that were a disappointment! My wife ordered the chicken salad which she really liked. So, just beware what you order and enjoy this hidden place!

Ich war heute mit meiner Familie im Gasthof Lausen, wie so oft in letzter Zeit Hier wird das essen frisch zubereitet und schmeckt richtig lecker. Heute waren wir im Biergarten! Es gibt auch noch eine Gaststube, aber bei dem schönen Wetter wollte man draußen sitzen. Für unsere Kinder war ein kleiner Spielplatz vorhanden, so könnten die Kids die Wartezeit überbrücken! Weiter so!!! read more

Nette Kellner, schönes Ambiente und angemessene Preise für ordentliche Portionen. Besonders das Fleisch und die Würste vom Grill sind zu empfehlen. read more
