The hotel is noisy, especially during weekends. There is a restaurant downstairs open to the public that belongs to the hotel and after dinner there is people drinking, smoking and talking really loud -mostly friends of the owners-. Additionally, during weekends there is also music playing and you can hear it loudly from the rooms on the first floor -I can't say about the rooms on the other floors-.
Everything stops around 12 at night which you will not consider to be really late but is enough to bother you after a day of ski, mostly taking into account that you go to the mountain expecting quietness and also taking into account that in Austria they have dinner between 6 and 8 which makes 12 a really late time.
I agree with the review that says that in this hotel customer comes last as I complained about the noise in two occasions and the owners did nothing in this regard.
If you expect a quiet hotel to rest this is not the place and it is a pity because most of the other things in the hotel are really good. The rooms and the bathroom inside the rooms ate spacious, new and really clean. Breakfast is good with several things to choose. Dinner is compose of two main courses and a dessert and the quantity and the quality of the food is good.
The gastoff is located in the centre of the village so it's a good location to walk around. To arrive to the slopes you need to take a bus -the stop is two minutes walking from the hotel- that takes 5 minutes to arrive there.
Apart from the noise I would point three things that need to be improved: first, there is no living room at the hotel as the restaurant occupies all the ground floor so you need to be at the bedroom all the time while in the hotel; second, wifi has a low signal and does not arrive properly to the rooms on the first floor and third, you can smoke inside the hotel in the ground floor. read more
