A true gem in the southern heart of Burgenland, Austria. Excellent food, at least one vegetarian option, very friendly service, clean, dog friendly, family feeling. While this is actually a classical Austrian style 'heuriger', the portion size and quality of the food is that of fine dining (Note: apparently also a regular restaurant in fall/winter which explains a lot). I could not recommend this place more, well worth the drive if you are not nearby. For desert, ask for the fresh locally produced ice cream, it is not on the menu but truly some of the best ice cream I have ever had.
