I ordered Schweinebraten (Bavarian style pork roast). The meat was succulent and tender. It was topped with a crispy piece of fried pork-belly. A gigantic potato dumpling and a dollop of sauerkraut completed the plate. A nice dark bock beer from the Weltenburger brewery was a perfect pairing with the entree. The others in our group were well satisfied with their choices as well. The Gasthof has rooms to rent with all modern facilities, including a large adjustable flat screen TV, there is free wifi as well It is exceptionally clean and well run. A typical bavarian breakfast comes with the room making this a great bargain. The restaurant is worth taking a side trip for. Chef Robert's creations are delicious and the portion size is very generous.
