No visit to Lille would be complete without a stop at Meert. Whether you're in the mood for a full…read moretea service and accompanying delicious snacks, or just want to pick up some delectable chocolates to take with you as you wander through the streets, this place is not to be missed! I think I probably brought back a dozen little confectioner's boxes (and managed to keep one or two for myself). Come holiday time, don't miss Meert's awesome window displays! This and some of the other businesses around La Grande Place make wandering the streets of Lille in the cold winter months worthwhile!
