The space is a little crammed given the number of customers. Recommend getting here early to grab a table or bar seat. Still, the bartenders are very attentive and quick to take your order despite the crowd. It is a little pricey but for the strength and quality of the beers, it is definitely worth it!

It's usually less crowded than its Irish pub neighbor a couple doors down, which is how my friends and I found it originally (we were looking for a low-key drink on a random weeknight). It's centrally located to many other bars and clubs in Lille, so it's great for a stop on a busy many-stop bar crawl, or just for a little change of pace before (or after) a stop at the club.

At any hour you will find a special atmosphere : coffee in the morning, regular customers the afternoon, local peoples at the end afternoon, after someone put a coin on the jukebox (yeeeeah !!!) and everybodie get hot ^^ beer is flowing and people begin to sing popular songs :) sometimes it ends very late ;) Dont forget to be polite with Ben, the bar owner ! He was far more interested in having a smoke outside, leaving the door open so that the customers could enjoy the sub zero temperatures outside.
