The thing that stood out was that while I was sitting here drinking my beer this woman suddenly got up and started singing caberet, but then again this is France, so people singing Caberet shouldn't be all that surprising. It's usually less crowded than its Irish pub neighbor a couple doors down, which is how my friends and I found it originally (we were looking for a low-key drink on a random weeknight). It's centrally located to many other bars and clubs in Lille, so it's great for a stop on a busy many-stop bar crawl, or just for a little change of pace before (or after) a stop at the club.
