Our first call was to our insurance company for roadside assistance and it was going to be several hours before they could get someone dispatched out there to help him and he was going to just be stranded on the highway waiting. Luckily we found Garland Tire's number and called them......it was getting close to closing time, but the lady who answered immediately offered to have one of their guys drive out there and remove the tire, bring it back to the shop, swap it out, and drive back out there to put the new one on for us. Incredibly fast, professional, went above and beyond and now our son is safely back on the road home. If we lived in that area we would be a customer for life. "Nope you're good to go son" In Michigan he broke down and was towed, where they found the part had SNAPPED almost in HALF because not only did Garland Tire NOT replace it like they said but they ASSURED HIM IT WAS SAFE. We can't say enough good things about this business. We had a tire literally burst on our RV at 6…read morepm on a Friday night when there was a huge race at Bristol. We called at least 10 businesses trying to get help without success. This man came out, removed the wheel, took it to his shop and replaced the tire so that we still had a spare, and put the wheel back on. The price he charged for the tire was the same as we usually pay and the service call was totally reasonable. He was pleasant and polite. We are both in our 70's and changing this in 90+ degree heat was not an option. If he had not come out, our only option would be a huge towing fee to pull the trailer to a shop. It was proof that compassionate, ethical and competent people still exist.

These guys did good work on my Acura. However, they inconvenienced me when I tried to take my…read moreToyota in. I bought rear disks and pads for my Toyota intending to do it myself. Time passed and I never found the time to get to it. The rear brakes started making noise so I decided just to take it in. I called for an appointment and told them I wanted an oil change, brake fluid change and the rear brakes done. I told them I had the brake parts and the lady on the phone said they could not warranty it if they used outside parts and I said fine, that's OK and made the appointment. I showed up the day of my appointment and brought someone to give me a ride home. When I told them I had the brake parts they told me "we don't install outside parts" . If they had told me that on the phone I would not have wasted everybody's time. I went to Carpenters automotive instead and they had no problems doing the work.
