We didn't even know how we were going to get it somewhere to get it fixed. We found Jim's Auto Repair and thought, Jim sounds like a nice guy who can probably fix anything. Fortunately we had a reprieve in brake locking and made it to his shop. He dropped all he was doing to take a look at it, and ended up spending 30 minutes with my husband, and some of his guys, just trying to figure out how to get us home. After some collaboration and scoping out the system, he found a way and off we went! He was a life saver! He spared us so much time getting home, much grief in having to leave it in Quanah to get it fixed and then returning to pick it up weeks later, and made our day, and the end of the trip, memorable because of his kindness. He was all about helping a person, and not all about the money. Thank you Jim! You really did so much for us, and saved us days of worry, money and frustation!

It was already an emotional trip, when midway through our travels, we unexpectedly heard a pop in the engine, the vehicle started running hot, and we ended up stranded on the side of the road in 103° heat with no family or friends anywhere nearby. I called the local U-Haul location while trying to figure out what to do, and they referred me to Hills Motors Towing. That is when I met Jeremy, the owner/operator. I can honestly say I have never met a more family-oriented, customer-service-focused business owner. Jeremy agreed to pick us up and tow us, and he arrived within under 30 minutes. Once he looked at the vehicle, he was able to quickly identify the likely issue. Even more impressive, he had the knowledge, experience, and parts inventory available to get us taken care of right there. Within about two hours, he had my family and me fixed up and back on the road. The pricing was more than fair, so much so that I felt compelled to leave a tip. He was kind, courteous, professional, honest and entertaining! He was reasonably priced and saved us! We were passing through town when our car broke down. Due to Covid everything was closed so we stayed the night. We found C&L online and called early the next morning. We told him we thought the alternator was out, he was out traveling to get parts for another car and while he was driving asked about the car, told me where to find the information he needed to check on parts and said he'd call me back. Shortly he called back and said he could get the part, explained he needed to finish the car he was working on, gave me a timeline. We met at his shop a bit later, he was ready for us, promptly checked the battery and found it bad. He called for parts (battery and alternator) and parts arrived very quickly. He put the battery in then tested the alternator and found it bad as well. He began work and we were fixed and on the road early afternoon. I can't say enough good things about our experience. We were grateful to have found him, it made a bad situation temporary. Thank You!!!

We pulled in, unsure of what to expect. Enter Chris--a true professional and an even better human being. Within minutes, he diagnosed the issue, but unfortunately, the parts wouldn't arrive before closing time. That's when Chris went above and beyond. Even though they were about to close, they still took time out of their day to check our car and make sure nothing got damaged underneath/nothing was leaking. I broke down In the morning hours of Sunday in Childress. I made my way 8 miles from the town…read morecenter to this auto shop. Everyone In Town has great things to say about the owner and his crew. The shop isn't open on Sunday but I was able to drop my vehicle off since I am passing through town . I got the only taxi service available In town to go to Amarillo for rental car. The owner met me on the day shop is closed so I could tell him car history and problem. Owner took a look at issue and was able to give me a synopsis ASAP on Sunday. The work hasn't been completed yet, but so far I am very impressed and appreciative of the kindness on an off day . So far the repair shop has gone above and beyond to aid me when distressed in the middle of no where.
