In desperation, I decided that I'd try to fix the broken cast iron latch, which happened to have snapped off in the assembly. I tried a few remedies from Amazon that were frankly crap so took a run down to RCR to see if they could help... One week later I am the proud owner of a one piece brushed stainless steel surround and it looks great.. small job but meant a lot.. only issue was my written measurements were misinterpreted (scribbled like a caveman) but they rectified it on the spot which was cool.
