I explained to her the style I liked (darker, crisper, grainer images) and she captured it perfectly. She wrote down everything in her cute little notepad and was super attentive. She was easy to get in contact with, very go-with-the-flow which I LOVE, and made everyone at the wedding feel at ease. We had our dog at the wedding and she let us take some pictures with him (so dorky I know but that's us) so that's extra points in my book! We received a few preview pictures shortly after the wedding and of course we were in LOVE. I couldn't stop staring. When we received the full online album, it was everything we wanted and more. Since ours was a gay wedding we didn't have many of the traditional wedding party arrangements (such as brides maids and groomsmen) Dan acclimated his shots to the wedding party groupings we designed and worked with us to get photos that made sense for the kind of wedding we were having. He was sensitive to the uniqueness of our event and never batted an eye at the circumstances. Once we received our wedding photos I was overjoyed to see how hard Dan worked to make sure that we got the photos we wanted. The lighting was beautiful, and the images were intimate, unique and candid. Also the retouching was perfect.
