The staff made me feel at home and were genuinely concerned about my well being and cared to get to know me. I started physical therapy after being in a car accident. As a result, I ended up with a herniated disc. I was in a lot of pain. I never thought I would be able to recover. I had a lot of questions and Dr. Ramil was able to answer and explain thoroughly. I am grateful to have had PT at this office. Fast forward today, I am feeling great and almost back to feeling normal. I had an appt for a Spinal Injection, but wasn't told that I needed to discontinue my Blood Thinner 3 days prior to the injection, so I had to reschedule , the other time I was there for my Spinal Injection, and one of the girls in reception told me that the X-ray machine, that they use when giving these injections, was not there that day, and I had to reschedule. I did not get upset either time, I only commented that I wish i had been told about the blood thinner. I know to discontinue it for a Surgery or Dental work, but this is just an injection. Yesterday I had a Horrible experience over the phone with the Dr.s assistant, "Vanessa"! I called to make sure the X-Ray machine would be there for my appointment, since it wasn't that time I showed up, and had to reschedule. I spoke with reception, then she switched me to Vanessa, so I asked her, and she said it was always there, so I told her about the time I went for my appointment and was told it wasn't there. She immediately said, "They wouldn't have told you that", I said that they did, and she said it again, now I'm getting a little angry because she's calling me a Liar, and I asked her if she was calling me a Liar, she said, "I didn't say that, only that they wouldn't have told you that." Those words repeated 3 times mean Exactly that! We went back and forth for a few minutes, where she was looking at my chart, saying " You've cancelled and rescheduled several times", which had Nothing to do with what we were talking about, two of those times were Their fault as I've mentioned above, and once was because it took So Long to get an appointment, (my back went out in January, but they couldn't see me for a couple of months, and I cancelled and rescheduled because my back wasn't out anymore!)! This isn't important other than I felt like was being interrogated about appointments! During our exchange she said repeatedly insisted "They wouldn't have told you that", I Lost it!! She also said that I said the day they told me the machine wasn't there was August 11, I DID NOT, Yes I yelled at her, and Yes, I told her to "have a Crappy day" before hanging up.....I wanted her to have as Crappy a day as she'd made mine! I don't react well when people keep accusing me of Lying! All she had to have said was, " Oh, I don't understand why they wouldn't have told you the machine wasn't here, but no worries, it's here and we'll see you Friday." THAT would have been the end of that, no one pushed beyond their limits, no one wishing anyone a Crappy day! As I'm sure you've gathered, I won't be going back there again!

I've been seeing Dr. Chen for over a year as my Dr. was not comfortable prescribing any pain medication even though I have been on it for over 19 years. My last appointment was in December. I was supposed to have one in Jan 26th, however I was called and told that I would not be able to get one until March so they gave me a refill till then. April comes and no appointments. I called twice to let them know I hadn't been seen, and my medications were nearly depleted. I was told that they best they could do was give me an appointment July 15th. I explained that one of my medications side effects was a mood booster, and that I have been warned multiple times, by multiple doctors not to stop it suddenly. Well that didn't matter to the scheduling department. July 15th was the best she would do for me. This staff happily let and my family suffer though the misery of the withdrawal symptoms that led to 2 urgent care and an emergency visit. Again Dr. Chen is amazing. Scheduling staff couldn't give a care if you died.

I explained that I am not in litigation, I am capable of handling my own insurance claim, and I simply wanted to receive medical care. I was surprised to learn that, according to the representative, their protocol is not to treat auto accident patients unless they are represented by legal counsel. As a patient, I find that extremely concerning. Access to medical care should not depend on whether someone has hired an attorney. It left me questioning whether medical decisions are being influenced by legal or financial considerations rather than a patient's medical needs. I hope the practice reconsiders this policy because people injured in accidents deserve access to medical evaluation and treatment regardless of whether they choose to retain an attorney.
