Additionally she left the country during the sale of the house and never told me that she was thousands of miles away for the closing. She said she had "other commitments and would be available by phone for the closing"! In fact, she was in a time zone seven hours ahead of Eastern Time and not readily available at all. She left Dan Metcalf in charge and if I called him, he would tell me that he wasn't the listing broker. The pièce de resistance was him leaving a message with the Title Closing Officer that I "wasn't nice" I have a photo of the message if anyone wants to contact me privately to see it. These people were supposed to be representing me! I had some questions the night before closing and instead of speaking to me, Judi & Tamar responded by threatening me with legal action accusing me of being in breach of contract if I didn't go to the closing in the morning. Gali, the supposed owner, left me a text message or email while I was driving to the closing asking if I was going to the closing and if she should come. I saw it when I arrived at the closing. I responded immediately that I was at the closing. She called a little while later screaming at me that her time was valuable and did I want her to come from Takoma Park to Rockville. I said I did. By the time she arrived the closing was finishing up. She did not say one word to me and no one from this group got in touch to even offer congratulations on the sale of the home. I strongly suggest that you look elsewhere for an agent. They are only interested in cashing your check

This is our second very positive experience with the Finn Family Group. Should we have future real estate needs in the Washington, D.C. area we will not hesitate to engage their services again.

One thing I must note is that he will step up to bat for you whenever. I had two issues with my lender regarding timing. On both occasions Matt called on my behalf and nailed it; I didn't have to worry. Loved it. I recommend Matt if you're looking for a responsive, knowledgeable and good negotiating agent. He was very friendly and treated me like a member of his family. Teddy stated that he treats all of his listings as if they were a million-dollar property. We discussed what my listing price should be to attract the most buyers. He offered me suggestions and referred me to other services on how to get my place ready for sale. The professional pictures of my condo were outstanding and true to life. I had about 30 individual showings and about 25 groups of people come to the first day of my open-house!! My condo had 5 offers and initially sold for $5,000 above asking price AND in 6 DAYS!!! I am very thankful that Teddy was referred to me by a friend (this was my second attempt at selling my condo so I was skeptic about about it selling). I have already referred Teddy to my sister and he helped her buy her first home (she was competing against 9 other offers and Teddy helped her offer win)! My parents are interested in selling in the Spring and they want to use Teddy's services then. I will be referring Teddy to all of my friends and family from here on.

Flash back a few months, I met Dave at an open house and instantly thought he was awesome. I was working with another realtor at the time and was having no success in the crazy Arlington house market. My boyfriend and I made the difficult and very worth it decision to thank our former realtor for her time and start working with Dave. As soon as we made that decision everything changed. Our first meeting with him was so professional, but still a lot of fun. He asked us a ton of questions about our lifestyle, budget, what we like/don't like etc. He set us up with a search and we went on our way. Just two weeks later a townhome came on the market in Ballston and we were hooked. Dave toured it with us, was super honest about the pros and cons, and let us think on it for a day. This is my first home so I was nervous to write an offer, but I felt super comfortable with Dave's guidance. We made the offer and unfortunately didn't get the place, I was crushed. Thankfully, this is where Dave's network and persistence came into play. He knew the listing agent and stayed in constant contact with her to ensure we were the first ones considered should the buyers back out. Lo and behold, they did, and he quickly turned around a backup offer. They accepted!!! I was ecstatic! I thought Dave was the best at this point, and somehow he got better. His recommendations for lenders were incredible and I got a rate that no one could believe, and the title company he works with made everything seamless. We had a quick close because of the crazy process we went through, but Dave and our title company did everything to ensure we were well taken care of. We closed last week and I can honestly say none of this wouldn't happened without Dave. He's the best realtor, and now someone I call a friend. I can't recommend him enough!

I used Sam 4 1/2 years ago to purchase this home and used him again in the sale. He was both professional and friendly and maintained communications with me all the way through settlement. When I sent messages or called him about questions or concerns, he responded quickly and provided times that we could discuss some of the topics in more depth. He provided me with the marketing research and made me aware of what to expect in the current selling market. We settled with the price I requested. Once he had someone take the house photos (which were fantastic) and posted the sale online, I received my first offer within a week. Although the sale did not go through, my second offer came by the beginning of week three. Part of this was from his marketing online and the rest was from his networking with other realtors to find out what their buyers were interested in.
