Office personal are not medically trained but yet will shut any concerns you have down and will not break the wall they place. Greeted with an attitude like they know more than you and your concerns not welcoming to help lead you to tests or answers for continuing issues that their answers are not healing. Seems if you call with a concern too a secretary is all you get to speak with. Not actual nurse or medical provider. This place is only for superficial care. Got a wound, they may be the place to go but for care over 40, go somewhere else. In my opinion you are better suited for to save $ and use a phone a Dr in this day and age. why would you want to put up with the attitude they offer when your priority as well as theirs should be doing the best for their patients? Again, my opminion. Everyone's is different and I probably sound like a Karen but I have personally never dealt with a Dr office like this before. Never even gone as far as considering writing a negative review for anyone like this, but this felt warranted.

Both doctors have been very engaging and take the time to explain things and help me feel they care. They have recently taken on the ear, nose and throat services from a local hospital and that has caused them to expand and add staff. Easy parking and easy to get into. Modern office and easy to find your way around. I feel the NP I work with cares about me personally and not just as a customer or account. She takes the time to see how I'm doing and engage on a personal level. At one point when I raised an issue that was not here area of expertise she did't just blow me off, she went and found another doctor and saw things through to ensure I was getting the support I needed.

This is due to the fact that due to their 3rd party contractor who processes billing you do not know when a conversation with a doctor during a routine wellness visit will become a "seeking care/Diagnosis" visit and be billed for a treatment you did not seek out in violation of Missouri 431.061. Though they will hide behind the general wellness consent form you signed and then inform you all their actions are in the best interest of the child which is not addressing the issue but rather redirecting the conversation to put you into a posture of shame and acceptance and not stand up for your children. The bill is not substantial enough to warrant taking to claims court. But I no longer have confidence in the company's administrative posture to feel comfortable to have a normal relational conversation with the actual doctor who is providing care lest it be turned into another Bill. Healthcare is built on trust of care and ability to dialog with doctors and Pediatric Associates of SW Missouri Billing Administration is a unseen barrier between the patient and the doctor that is only felt after the fact and will not be addressed or fixed later. All of this over the fact that my children coughed during the wellness visit.
