Easiest 5 star rating I could write. I will try to make this short and sweet. I was introduced to Jason through a friend when I asked for some insurance referrals. My current insurance bumped my rate up about $50 so I figured why not shop around. Jason was super friendly and we stayed in touch over 3 to 4 weeks as I tried to figure out what I wanted to do. Finally, I decided lets just pull the trigger and go with Krouse Insurance. I sent Jason my current renewal declaration and literally the day before we were going to meet and sign the paperwork, he called me to discuss. It looked like my current rate was pretty much the same. He looked it over...ran the numbers and in conclusion, it was better for me to stay with my current insurance. WHO DOES THAT? Who would look into and recommend I stay? He did NOT get any of my business but looked out for what was best for me. This reason alone gets 5 big stars. Honesty in business is a rare thing and Jason proved he is honorable and honest. After the back and forth it was determined what was best for ME. I was not looking to change my agent or the office that was very close to where I live, although I should have been. My family was with the previous company for many, many years, and not particulary satisfied, but never made an attempt to see if another agent/office would put the customer first. I was about to purchase my first home, I was looking for coverage with our same agent, the one we had given our business to (for our cars) for many, many years. She wrote me back that same day and said they couldn't help with my house. It was a very short sentence. I had been calling around anyhow to at least get a few quotes, but they were not looking good either. At least it was coverage, but at a ridiculous price. Was then given Steve's information and from the first time I contacted him, I could tell he would at least try to get me coverage for the best deal out there. His attention and dedication to my home made all the difference, he got me GREAT coverage, it took a few emails and a few calls on my part (I know at lot more on Steve's part), to answer a few extra questions, but it was very much worth it.
