Not only did they discriminate against me due to my military status they tried to take advantage multiple times. They also tried to figure out every which way possible to not do a joint walk through at the end of the lease. They sent bashful emails to me and tried to blame me for something in regards to the lawn that I had absolutely nothing to do with. I'm disgusted and disappointed that I spent so much money renting here. Even when you're at the office trying to drop off the rent the lady at the front desk stays on the phone and doesn't assist you. Absolute terrible experience. Do not do business with this company. From the first day when we met, when he picked me up on campus during my welcome weekend visit and drove me to a wide variety of his properties, I was impressed by his care and his desire to make sure I found a place to live where I was really happy. The apartment I rented was exceptionally well-maintained, and I lived there the entire 3 1/2 years I was in Ann Arbor. Every time I called Bob, he answered the phone. And anytime I needed a repair or regular maintenance, his warm and friendly staff (the wonderful Al and Tony), arrived within the hour. Whenever I called Bob, he asked how I was doing, and it took me a while to realize he was really asking and really wanted to know. And once, when I was horribly sick with the flu and I had to be on campus until 10 p.m. and I had a flight at 6 a.m. the next morning and my car was snowed in, I called Bob to tell him of my predicament and ask if he knew anyone I could call for help, and he sent over his crew to shovel me out, just out of kindness. I felt cared for and taken care of by the folks at Arbor Properties. I'll miss them, and I give them my highest recommendation.

But, fast forward to 2020... Not only were we in a position to move, we were in need of a realtor who could help us out. I remembered that Jen had just started doing exactly this job, and reached out to her. She not only got us into viewings in like two days (and the houses in Michigan right now, are going faster than many people can literally see them), 4 hours away from both of our current hometowns. She's a trooper. She's fun. And, she's knowledgeable. She handled all of the leg work in calling and setting up the viewings, walked us through the properties, and eventually, found the home that we JUST closed on with her help, on November 30, 2020. If you truly want someone who will go to bat for you, help you understand everything, be in constant contact with you, and someone who will also have just as much fun viewing houses as you... Then you NEED to go with Jen Moon. She's just simply amazing. If 5 stars is all I'm allowed to give her... I'm telling you, I'd give her 6. Thank you again Jen for everything!
