I thought it was an urban myth. He was very nice, listened to me, I didn't feel rushed one bit. He left the room to call and consult on something for me. I was blown away but the service and feel of ease and comfort. Best part, he called me later that day to give me some more advice on something I asked about. Personally. Not a nurse. Not a voice mail service. The actual doctor. Best. Doctor. Ever.

The lady on the phone said the soonest she had was the following week at one. I quickly took it and thanked her. In anticipation for my appointment I got blood work done and sent so he could review it prior to my appointment. I showed up to my appointment 15 minutes early to a rude lady claiming to be named Desire. She rudely said I could not possibly have an appointment at one because they weren't seeing patients until 2 and claimed she never received the blood tests I had done (that were sent not once, but twice actually from the urgent care). She said they weren't seeing any patients till 2 that day and yelled that I could wait and see if they could fit me in throughout the day (as she was stuffing food in her mouth). I called the urgent care and confirmed they sent the blood tests to the right fax number. The urgent care nicely and promptly sent he blood work a third time and while I was standing there Desire suddenly was able to get those results (I guess THIRD time is the charm for medical records). She rudely kept sayin I didn't have an appointment and to sit down-it was clearly lunch as I had skipped mine at work to go to my non existent appointment. Desire seemed way more concern with her food than helping me. I explained I was very concerned about my health and I got the blood work done so tit would be ready for my appointment and that I wrote he appointment time and date down correctly. Desire was not helpful at all. She glanced at my results and said "looks fine to me." I asked her to please have the doctor please loin At then and call me to let me know because I couldn't wait to be fitted in as I had to get back to work. She didn't even offer to reschedule!!! Dr. Brown never called me and when I called the office back around close Desire claimed he looked at them and said they were fine. Sorry but it would be a stretch to even consider Desire a nurse. She was beyond rude and not helpful. I spent all afternoon at work looking for a new primary doctor. In a time when I was actually concerned about my health, my primary doc office failed me and did nothing to try and calm me. Dr. Brown was and I'm sure is still a great doctor.....it's just alarming that patients have to deal with Desire first when entering he office. Maybe if you don't go during her "feeding time" she may actually be human and able to her job appropriately. I hate to leave Dr. Brown but I have dealt with too much medical office incompetency.

In doing so the lady explained where to go as the building had changed and that they would be open to 2PM. So my wife with a fever and bad chest congestion showed up to the doors locked on Christmas Eve. Now she may have to go to an emergency room, if it's covid is that where you wanted to here to be! She drove an extra 30 minutes to be seen to find the doors closed. Thanks for hanging a sick lady out in the cold. I know you don't get praises for being on call during the Holidays, as I was before I retired always expected to work, and worked more during Covid-19. But you never direct a person, in need of medical care to come and have the doors closed on them. My wife will not spend the money for the ER, so she will have to wait till Monday. There are no words I can express to explain my disappointment! I would like to thank Berry in Greenville - Urgent Care for helping us find a place my wife could get to before they closed, as they did not know that Breese is useless.

When I finally met the doctor he spent all of 3-5 mins getting to know me and about 30 seconds of that time was spent checking into my injury. He left the office and someone else came in to take my blood, she was very friendly and accommodating. They told me that my blood work would be back in by Monday at the latest and when i called Tuesday for the results they said it was in and someone would call back. They never did nor did they the following day I had to call back the Thursday to get the results. Needless to say i will continue my search for a new primary care physician.
