Extremely disappointed with how I was treated by this office…read more I originally had an appointment on September 4 that I had to reschedule because I was sick and had been hospitalized. I spoke with the secretary and was given a new appointment for September 17 at 4:30 PM. I wrote the appointment down in TWO separate calendars and also have text messages related to my scheduling. When the day of my appointment came, I was suddenly told that I had no appointment and that another appointment had never been made. Instead of anyone taking the time to investigate what may have happened with the scheduling, I felt as though the responsibility was immediately placed on me. I then tried to resolve the situation and schedule another appointment. I explained that I normally need later appointments because of my work schedule, but when morning appointments were offered, I agreed that I could make September 28 work. Dr. Brown then told me to call back the following week to make sure I could "commit" to the appointment. That comment was incredibly upsetting because I had already explained that my original appointment had to be changed because I was ill and hospitalized. I also specifically asked the secretary whether I had previously been marked as a no-show and was told no, only to then receive conflicting information from Dr. Brown indicating that I had. When I called the office back because I was upset and wanted clarification, at one point the line appeared to become unattended and it sounded as though the phone had been put down while I was trying to speak. Mistakes happen. An appointment being entered incorrectly could have been resolved with an apology, a review of what happened, and an attempt to accommodate the patient. What upset me most was how the situation was handled afterward. I felt dismissed and treated as though I was unreliable when I was actively trying to resolve the problem and continue my care. I left this experience extremely upset. Patients should be able to expect accurate scheduling, consistent information about their appointment history, and respectful communication when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

He cares for all his patients very dearly, and always has their best interests in mind. He has the magic touch and will coordinate treatment based off of where and how you're hurting. He will root you on to swim and to do yoga- anything that will help you heal! He has also been very thorough with keeping the facilities clean- post COVID-19, patients came in every half hour, but now, he treats patients in hour blocks so he has time to disinfect each room before more patients come in. He accepts no- fault! My dad and I have been seeing him for 25 years, and even with two accidents he still treats me. His office is on Washington Avenue, just a minute away from the Walkway- I always like to go for a walk before or after I see him.
