Then he showed up when we were looking for another roofer because Corey did not communicate with us for months, even though we tried to communicate with him. We left VM's and sent emails and nothing for 6 months. Our roof did leak over the winter, we hired Corey because he said he would get it done before the winter. We hired him in September of 2025 of a job to start at he end of October beginning of November he said. He called us, after all that time of ghosting us, in June of 2026. 7 months after he said he would start the job. So, he lied about the start date and the fact he could get the job done before winter. Had I known I would have gone up and done some patches myself but I am old so, I stupidly waited for him, trusting him to keep to his word and the contract, until it was just too late--we had 36 cm of snow so, I said to my wife, "Well I guess we're gonna have a leak upstairs this year." Of course, we did. More clean up and drywall repair. Thanks Corey. My son wants me to be reasonable with Corey and Aquila. I am done with all that. Being reasonable is getting us no where with Aquila. We need to be unreasonable for a month or so and then sue his ass when he doesn't come. I truly believe he won't come. He has made more than a few promises about start dates, arrivals, promises and assurances and all for nothing-we STILL have the leaky roof over the winter, we still have a leaking roof NOW after he's done his work so I am so close to calling a lawyer now, I am 99.9% done with Corey. He has a 1% chance to come make this right or fuck him I sue his ass. I have proof of everything, I keep a very, very clear paper trail. This is not my first fucking rodeo! My garden equipment and my spare wood has all been ruined by water now. Thanks Corey. Will you be paying for all that Oak and Maple also? I doubt it, it will be a nightmare to get you back to fix your work-if you even come back before I just call my lawyer and tell him to go ahead and try to take you for everything you have over this. Buyer beware when it comes to Aquila, maybe stick to some big names, they might be more expensive but NONE of this BULLSHIT will happen to you. With Corey, apparently, judging from some of his reviews, it's a crap shoot, you might get great work and service (NOT BEEN MY EXPERIENCE!!!!!!) then again you might end up like me. DO you REALLY want to spend 10's of thousands of dollars on this chance? You do me right and maybe I'll come back here give you a 3 stars but no more than that just for the crappy experience! AND I WILL NOT CHANGE this review, I might edit it to say you came back to make things right and good on you but, that's as far as I go. You have completely and 100% totally pissed me off with your mis-handling of this situation. Chris's initial inspection showed he was highly knowledgeable, and his estimate was so competitive and the online reviews so good that I signed up straight away. Not only did Chris not try to up-sell me, he actually "down-sold" me: A friend had told me I should install an ice shield all the way from the gutter to the peak, but Chris said that was almost always an unnecessary add-on promoted by unscrupulous roofers to pad their profit margins. Chris was involved in the project from start to finish and kept me apprised the entire time. His squad of eight was amazingly efficient, completing the entire project - removing old shingles, replacing rotted rake boards, ice shielding, flashing, edging, and shingling -- in an incredible 4.5 hours, while leaving my yard pristine and my new roof looking great. We are a condo with 8 units. We have had 2 condos leaking since the installation. Binning admits…read morethey made a mistake as was revealed in two inspections, one inspector was hired by them. Both inspections revealed the same results : it was conclusive that they had done a bad install. They have said they would repair it but they never show up, even after repeated requests and meetings. In the meantime the leaks still progess. They refuse responsibility for their bad installation and poor workmanship. We are going to have to go to court. What a waste of time.
