If you are visiting Burgundy, this is most likely the train station you will be arriving at from Paris. This no-frills station is small, has no restaurant (other than vending machines), no luggage storage, and no car rental office. It is just a place to buy tickets and board your train. At least it's clean.
There is a small bistro, Le Tast' Vin, across the street, however, if you want a snack or a glass of wine. There's also an ADA across the way, and an ABC Galmard at the end of the street, if you want to rent a car. But Europcar -- which is probably where you will be renting from -- is on 53 Route de Pommard, and that's quite a trek. But they might pick you up at the station if you ask.
It's a little surprising that a train station in this tourist town has so few amenities. But c'est la France! read more
