This is a small train station located just shy of a 10 minute walk from the center of Beaune. The station is easily accessible from the town center. It only has two platforms so it's not difficult to figure out. It has a ticket machine as well as an attendant selling tickets. Amenities are very poor. If you are visiting Burgundy, this is most likely the train station you will be arriving at from Paris. This no-frills station is small, has no restaurant (other than vending machines), no luggage storage, and no car rental office. It is just a place to buy tickets and board your train. At least it's clean. There is a small bistro, Le Tast' Vin, across the street, however, if you want a snack or a glass of wine. There's also an ADA across the way, and an ABC Galmard at the end of the street, if you want to rent a car. But Europcar -- which is probably where you will be renting from -- is on 53 Route de Pommard, and that's quite a trek. But they might pick you up at the station if you ask.
