Unfortunately I had to get a root canal & a crown, of course I was highly anxious about it. I will day the quality of care from the office staff & Dr Gardner were Spectacular! I felt NO PAIN! The only discomfort was having toward the very end when my jaw was getting really tired from being opened for so long. But that is to be expected. The procedure went perfectly & I vehemently recommend Dr Gardner for your dental needs. Oh a few weeks prior to the procedure I had a cleanly from a member of God staff & it painless, as pleasant as a dental procedure can be & very thorough. Dr. Wade Gardner needs to read all the rules that apply with HIPAA.... To whom this may concern, I am sending this email to Dr. Wade Gardner and others to whom may either Help or Guide me in the right direction to Why I was Charged over $40,000 in about 2 and Half years of work and can only produce 6 x-rays and tons of billing and nothing to show why this was the best procedure to take on my dental Work? I find this to Be Outrageous and A Rip Off as nothing lasted more than a Year. I want answers and Proof of this Magnitude of Payments to where it was accountable to do the correct Treatment Plan that should have been Implemented. No Where do I find or see how in the world I can be charged so much and only have my 8 front top teeth and Approx. 9 of my bottom teeth. No back teeth at all. And to have all the work he done not last over a year and for him to tell me the last time I was in there he put a crown back on and it was not even done correctly and fell off about 30 minutes later and when I called he stated to the young lady on the phone about another Dentist doing the work before. I went to him for an emergency and then what I would have considered a treatment plan that I find no where was this plan implemented to for see me spending over $40,000 and A Half ASS JOB!!!! Then to only have 6 x-rays to show. How???? Then tell me that he did not charge me for x-rays and only did one complete x-ray. THIS WAS OUT OF HIS MOUTH!!!! 8 OR 9 PAGES OF BILLS AND ONLY 6 X-RAYS. Something needs to be done about this because I will NEVER STOP TILL HE IS INVESTIGATED FOR WHAT HE DONE TO ME AND MAYBE OTHERS? I left a message in the portal on a Friday afternoon a little after they had closed. An hour later I received a call from Dr. Wade. He had asked if everything was ok and scheduled me in for a 9am appointment on the next day. When I went in for my appointment they were pretty busy but I really appreciated the flexibility, professionalism and kindness of all of the employees including the doctor. I like to come here first because they're opened on Saturdays. Many places in Baton Rouge aren't. Then they get you in and out. The dental hygienist only work Thursday through Saturday. So make sure you book in advance. read more

I was in Baton Rouge for a sporting event for my son. I ended up in severe pain with a broken tooth. I called and they told me to come in. Dr. Wade and his staff made me and my family feel right at home. He did a root canal and saved my tooth that I had been told previously couldn't be saved by another dental office. The root canal was pain free and very comfortable. He and his staff stayed late for me and never complained about it. There are no words to describe the experience I have had twice at his office. The idea of a dentist who takes walk in in great, however, he seems to have an treat and street type of attitude. He is not interested in treating the individual and we all have different experiences that can color our views and outcomes. Dr. Gardner-Wade is so cool and funny that I was comfortable during my extraction! I've gone to other dentist to have fillings done and wasn't even acknowledge during my procedures. Not only did Dr. Wade shake my hand and introduce himself, he talked me through the wisdom tooth extraction and made me feel relaxed. I'm not sure how long he has been practicing, but I hope that he continues to keep this same personality and business model. Is it weird to say that I enjoyed my wisdom tooth extraction experience...LOL!!! I'm writing this review the day after, and I feel great. First of all, I have always hated going to the dentist. However, since I started going here after a friend of mine told me how great it was, I actually don't mind going anymore. The staff is super friendly and make me feel so much more comfortable than any other dentist office I've been in. It's very clean and modern - a totally different experience than what I was used to before. The only reason I gave Dr. Wade a 5-star rating is because they don't offer 10-star ratings. First, I never give reviews. But I truly feel it necessary to give Dr. Wade this one. I happened upon Dr. Wade on a Saturday emergency. The way I was treated was phenomenal!!!! Professional, attentive, and kind staff, comfortable surroundings, and your own TV in your room while you wait. "Can I get you anything, a water maybe?" Little things like this make all the difference in the world when you are in a very uncomfortable situation. I have always hated going to the dentist. Then walks in Dr. Wade. From jump I could tell (and you will too) this was not your typical dentist. Pain is a big issue for me AND for him. I have never had a dentist be so concerned with my comfort. He went above and beyond to insure the local was working, even adding more. Now, let's talk about quality. I have returned to Dr Wade two times since my first issue. Also, let me state the he is OUTSIDE of my insurance network, but I'm willing to pay more for the quality and absolute professionalism afforded to me by the phenomenal people that work there. I have been seeing Dr. Wade for almost two years and have had excellent service from him and from his staff. He has done a number of fillings, crowns, and bridges for me, and Dr. Wade and his staff are gentle, thorough, and flexible. Having extended hours has been a real convenience, and Dr. Wade and his staff do their best to accommodate scheduling needs and changes. The charges I have been quoted have been the same before and after the services have been rendered. Dr. Wade's staff always file paperwork with my insurance, and there have been no problems whatsoever in that regard. This dentist advertised in the church bulletin, and my elderly mother went to him to have a cleaning and fillings. He quoted one price, then after the work was done he increased the price, adding an additional charge for the cleaning. He charged additional to release the xrays. She later asked around and learned that his price for cleaning was at least double the going rate in town. She will never use him again. Watch out for this one. read more

Dr Wade saw me on Saturday. I developed a cracked molar and it was intensely painful. I was desperate. I saw that he was about the only emergency dentist in town and decided i had to be seen. I called the emergency number at 6:30 AM and he answered personally. He was polite and friendly and gave clear instructions. I showed up after i suffered through some work between 7 and 9 am. Paperwork was pretty standard. I was taken for X-rays and attended to within 10-12 minutes and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The office and facilities are nice, very modern and clean. He got right to the problem and wasted no time making the correct diagnosis. He identified what needed to be done and recommended a root canal. He told me exactly how much over my insurance it would cost (which was a good bit lower than advertised on the Endodontist websites). He indicated that he was comfortable with the procedure and the staff confirmed this. He did a fantastic job with the nerve block and explained the procedure. It was a busy morning and he obviously had numerous other patients to attend to but he managed his time expertly and i never felt like i was forgotten. He completed the root canal and gave clear instructions for after care. I can't tell you how much i appreciate the excellent care i received there and have already recommended him to several family and friends. Plus he is closer to my house than my (now) previous dentist. I am transferring my usual dental care to Dr Wade! Hats off, great job. read more

I have just recently started seeing a dentist. My first choice was Dr. Wade, knowing my sister and older brother see him and talk highly of his work. I decided to make a appointment, to have my first tooth pulled at 27 yr. He was wonderful, knew what he was doing like a old pro, and very patient with me, that was the biggest concern I'm terrified of dentist, not anymore thanks to Dr. Wade I already have 3 teeth extracted an working my way to a healthier smile, the staff was beyond any other dentistry in baton rouge that I have ever been to. They are a reflect of Dr. Wade. I will for sure get my whole family aboard an see him for all there dental needs. I will definitely recommended Dr. Wade to any one.
