Good things have happened since people need to read. It has become a meeting place for all. I have found plenty to keep me reading and when I need a book from another library they help me get it into West Yellowstone. You get a comfortable feeling when you in there. This is a huge building with so much space, so much glass and so many comfortable places to sit. I found a study carrel upstairs where I was able to plug in all of my electronics, connect to their fast and free wifi and get some emails done today. I was here for three or so hours and even managed to sneak in a quiet Zoom call without disturbing my fellow library patrons. Good security presence and a large parking lot. I'm impressed! My wife who is a complete junkie when it comes to reading was excited beyond words. At our local libraries, my wife is famous or infamous for having her own shelf reserved. Anyhow back to the Bozeman library. This library is the size of some office buildings with a huge parking lot. So I dropped her off so she could go in, and I ended up having to park way in the back. While I just sat and enjoyed the weather, the people just kept rolling in. No doubt a popular place. My wife came out with some books to read and was about as excited as she can get. You know how that saying goes about a happy wife.

They currently have a lot of remodeling going on around the library. It's meant for MSU students to use and it's very limiting when it comes to public use but its still worth the visit. They have 4 floors and a basement and I think by far the 3rd floor is the best. They have an elevator to ease the movement around the floors too. Be cautious most of the buildings is being remodeled so alot of it is off limits unless you get help from staff

A variety of different styles and a spectrum of different artists are on display through the…read moreGallatin Art Crossing exhibit, an outdoor sculpture park that is throughout Bozeman but mostly here near the Bozeman Public Library. I saw a couple of these pieces including "A Natural Uprising" by Dana Kuglin. The organization's primary goal is to choose and arrange sculptures in the Bozeman region. Unless otherwise specified on their plaque, all sculptures are for sale while they are in the program. The program also aims to add one piece per year to the permanent public collection. Each piece includes a QR code for members of the public to participate in the process and aid the board in choosing the winner of the People's Choice Award.
