Alas, they were out of Pawpaw trees! I went to MCG and found a selection of Pawpaws! Yay! I also browsed plants and took pictures of several I might integrate into my backyard oasis this year. I put my name down on a list for pink Muhly grass and am looking forward to a call when they come in. Additionally I found a South Carolina Allspice to add to our yard for fragrance. Last fall I went in looking for an evergreen shrub for my sloped yard and bought 2 Coastal Doghobbles. They are lovely and happily growing where they can help stabilize soil on the terraced slope. I will keep returning to MCG for native plants even though it's a 30 minute drive from my house because they have the best selection of native plants AND they are well organized with excellent staff!

A landscaping design was created and after our review and approval, we were on the schedule rather quickly. A crew of men came, managed by Robert and led daily by Juan. They confirmed the plans and got to work early each day. What's so refreshing is each time something came up that was important, such as retaining wall layout, placement of lights or plants, or a need to adjust plans, our input was needed and respected. Our home looked so ugly before Saluda came out, it was embarrassing, we did not have a sprinkler system, landscaping or lighting and had terrible drainage around the home. We will have future projects and will definitely have Saluda back and will always recommend them because of their ability to get the job done right in every aspect of the process from start to finish.
