The quality of the plants and the prices of them are amazing. After a few times going to bigger stores like Home Depot and Lowes, I kept getting frustrated by plants dying weeks later, and it wouldn't be until I tossed them or that I tried to repot them to save them that I realised the ones I was buying at big stores didn't even have root systems! They had been propagated from larger plants and just shoved in wet soil. The plants I bought at Distinctive Gardens are strong, healthy, and the roots are already coming out of the beginning pots or off of the plants themselves. Also, I assumed a small, independent business would be more expensive (and had finally talked myself into that "sacrifice"), so to find out it's actually CHEAPER than the big stores is so exciting! I don't know how they do it! They've got a customer/plant addict for life.
