I thought I'd give it a try. The place is nice. Very cozy. Wait time appropriate. This was my first visit. Appointment at 3:00 p.m. The front ladies handing me the paperwork and taking my payment was very friendly. All seemed great. UNTIL I was called to the back. The lady calling me to the back and checking vitals wasn't rude nor friendly. Later in the room asking me questions like when did my sickness start etc.. As I was answering she cut me off. Rushing me. I did not meet Dr. Garcia. I was treated by Monica Gallagher his physician assistant (PA). She started off okay but she also was not very friendly nor rude. She recommended a breathing treatment and I said okay. My old doctor gave me the same thing if I showed symptoms needing breathing treatment. I mentioned I had some meds at home and machine to conduct breathing treatment but agreed thinking it was necessary considering I'm at doctors office and what I probably would have done at my previous doctors office. At the very end, Monica suggested I take the meds prescribed and come back in a few weeks saying this as she walked toward the door. When she was done speaking I say to her, "I have a question." Her reply was, "You would have to set another appointment and pay the fee if you want your question answered." She paused, there was a silence, then she replied again, "unless it has something to do with today's visit." Which it did. There was that RUSH vibe again. I was taken back at this reply. It was rude and unnecessary. Although she caught herself it still left a bad taste in my mouth. Just move along you're taking up my time vibe. Needless to say I was not happy. Then as I go to check out, the lady says she needs to charge me for the vial I was given ($12.00) during the visit. WOW! Never paid for that at my old doctors office. Plus, if I buy the medicine I pay $8.00 for the box of 25 vials and now being charged $12.00 for 1. WOW. WOW! Then as I drove home and thought about the experience I remember as I filled out the paperwork in the wait room another gentleman was complaining about a charge he felt was ridiculous. It all made sense. I'm not going back. Nor do I recommend this place. It's about the money not the patient in my opinion. read more
