So I needed to have a garage door opener installed. Bought a basic center mount and poor Sam drove 45 minutes only to advise it wouldn't work with my existing setup. No charge which I felt bad about with LA traffic. I'm on the edge of his typical business radius. He recommend a side mount which sadly cost 2X but he said he would reduce install price by $50 so I went ahead and bought the chamberlain side mount which he said is a better way to go and a good brand. Was not a fan of Genie. I retired the original opener and upgraded to the side opener and Sam was back out in Friday afternoon traffic to get it done for me for the weekend. Sam with garage gurus went above and beyond and saved me when my garage broke. I broke a coil spring on Friday at 8pm. I was expecting to get someone out early Saturday morning. Sam offered to come out that night. I had sent some pictures and he sent over a quote that seemed fair. Once he saw the system in person he could tell it was built in a peculiar way and getting the spring changed would be more challenging. A 20 minute job took an hour.
