Order a glass of wine and some delicious veal? Get a bowl of chips and a giant plate of mortadella. Good local wine selection --- sorted by Brescia, then regional, then Italian, etc. Probably the best "next to the big park hotel" terrace / wine bar I've been to, in any country. Waitstaff is happy to help with dietary restrictions --- in particular, there's pork in many things (including the mortadella), but they can get inventive.

My friend had sirloin steak which he said was incredible. My son enjoyed his pizza, it was perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients and he loved it! The gnocchi was delicious and also perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was beautiful. We sat on the patio and it was very charming and comfortable. To top it off, the staff was at the top of their game. They know what they are doing and they do it well! They are friendly, helpful, and hard working. They made us feel welcome and like we were family. When I return to Salo, I will make this a regular stop. Enjoy!

The menu contains a lot of ice creams and drinks, and fast food. The selection of ice cream is great, you can get sundaes, a lot of flavor and wiped cream, so this place is fun for kids. We ordered the ice cream crêpe with pistachios, the "crêpe" was made from a rolled up flake of vanilla ice cream, and covered with a generously amount of pistachios. Super yummy. In my opinion, this is not a place for lunch or any food besides crisps and ice cream. I wish they could have a better option for food to nibble on, (antipasti) but then again, this is a ice cream parlor, not a restaurant, so I can manage to have a drink here without any cheese and bread sticks! I'm having some doubt giving this place 3 or 4 stars. The fact that this is an ice cream parlor with alcohol is 4 star-worthy, but looking at the menu discovering all the low quality junk food is enough to loose a star.. If you can find an empty table here and you're up for a cold drink or ice cream, this is definitely the place to be!
