Gap has fallen off completely!! The quality of the clothes is like Walmart seriously. I wanted to purchase some flare Jeans gap had great demin back in the 90s to mid 200s. I ask the sales associate if she had flare jeans she said "look over there we have boot cut."I said to my self boot cut and, flare are two different jeans this girl does not know the difference between fare and boot cut. I looked around and decided this place was not the place for me to purchase anything. The clothes and customer service is trash. My update, as written in my previous review.... The place has gone downhill quite a bit. The place was a bit messy, especially in the jeans section. The store also seemed quite cluttered, which is weird because the store itself is big. Maybe they are trying to squeeze as many products in the store as possible. By the way, a walkthrough is needed in the store. I picked up the same identical items and they had different prices: one was $14.99 and the other was $12.99. I'm not sure if there are other pricing issues like this, but this should definitely be checked out sooner than later. Lastly, the checkout - the store wasn't too crowded for a Friday late afternoon (around 5:15pm-ish), but the checkout line was long - I mean the line went to the end of the rope - and there was only 2 cashiers. No one came to help for quite sometime, and when another associate came over, she had to be asked to stay and ring up. Huh? Shouldn't she have saw the line and just come over. Finally, another associate came over (making the cashiers 4 now), and I was finally able to get out. Hopefully, these issues can be corrected sooner than later as the store had some decent items. read more

Extremely messy, employees that appear to be more interested in shopping for themselves than assisting customers, BUT the sales, THE SALES! Almost every day the entire store is at least 30% off, which is why I, along with most of Harlem, comes back, time after time! read more

I like this store and it's close proximity to my apt is awesome. The store can get really crowded during peak times like weekend days and some evenings. I've waited in long lines many times while coming during those times but it moved fast enough. Also the store was messier at these times (especially during the holidays) but having worked in retail in the past, I can say it's impossible to keep a store organized during chaotic holiday shopping. I find the stuff here is nice, fashionable and well priced. I've gotten lots of good deals. I love having it around the corner! read more

Quality GAP products 1/2 off in Harlem... cool beans!

I went to this store right before closing on a rainy night. I could tell some of the employees were ready to go, but there were two employees who saw my struggle of finding jeans, and promptly offer their help and advice. I didn't take up too much of their time (I hope) but it was really nice and comforting to know these two kind folks would be there to help me. Add that with great prices on clothes, this is the only gap store I'll be going to from now on! read more

This was the messiest store I've ever visited. Crowded with customers trying to use up their Gap Cash and little floor help in sight.

Customer service in this store is beyond horrible! I went I to return a gift item I purchased from another Gap and had to return it. For convenience purposes I returned (tried to) it to this location. The store was an absolute messy trash of a business. The manager" acted like she was being bothered folding items at the register than to help a potential customer. She was very rude and had trouble trying to articulate the companies policy they have clearly posted for customers to read. It DOES NOT state that if you purchase items from a Gap orginal store you can not return items to a factory store. She could not even articulate this! Instead she felt the need to rudely tell me she's not going to repeat the same thing 10x (clearly not explaining anything just rudeness and attitude) moral of my long rant I live in the neighborhood I'm intelligent as well as well spoken and well paid! Convenient location on 125th St. It can get a little messy and sometimes the lines are really long but you can always find great deals. I would recommend Sunday before noon as the best time to come here. Last time I went it was still very tidy, freshly stocked, no lines, and peaceful. In addition to the regular factory store markdowns they also have a clearance section. read more

Great store with excellent bargains! They have a great selection of men's, women & kids clothing. The clearance section is fantastic and at the time I was there, an additional 30% discount was taken off already marked down goods. The fitting room is awesome and so are the staff. read more

Worse store ever the manager Tracy always has an attitude never helpful she's yells at the her staff when they ask her a question she's always rude second time I went there and both my experience was horrible. One of my favor stores use to be Gap factory on 125thst. Back in October I was shopping with my daughter as usually there's never a sales person to assist you. I was looking for a pair of black jeans it took a while but I found a pair. I proceeded to the check out and realized the jeans didn't have a price tag. I got off the line to find another pair walking pass a fixture that was sticking out I ripped my Michael Kors jacket I was quite upset. I spoke to a manager he was very helpful. He made a few phone calls, I received a call and was told i would be reimbursed for my jacket. I called customer relations and they told me it would take 4-6 wks to receive my check. Guess what it's been over 6 wks still no check. This really sucks shame on them no one has any information on where my check is what can i do now. read more

Cute clothes, great prices but awful customer service!! The cashiers take their slow ass time ringing people up, chitchatting, talking nonsense and laughing. They take forever to fold and bag clothing. Forget shopping during the holiday season - it'll take hours for you to leave the store. HIRE NEW PEOPLE! read more

I think I'm pretty normal sized, but it's so hard to find pants that fit! Here, I immediately found two pairs, both 50% off. Just one problem: when I got home the security tag was still on one of them. So double check, and you'll be good to go. read more

Worst customer service. When I checked out, cashiers chitchatted with each other while keeping me waiting. When I tried to ask her to help so that I can pay, she rudely said "excuse me, I'm talking to my boss here." For her, it is pretty reasonable to chat and ignore the waiting customers during her working hours. read more
