That is until I walked into Connolly Family Dentistry. I was extremely nervous as I came in for my deep cleaning. I remember saying a little prayer and asking for grace and my prayer was answered. Grace was the hygienist that worked on me and I couldn't have had a better experience. She is thoughtful, professional and Thorough. Best of all, it was a painless experience. Let me say that again. It was a painless experience. One of the best things about this practice is they treat people like old friends. You never feel neglected. The staff actually listens to you. Sit in the waiting room and watch. Every patient that walks in is greeted in a way not seen in most offices. You're greeted with a smile and a conversation. Something lost in some businesses. Look, I could sing the praises of Connolly Family Dentistry all day but, you won't really get it until you walk through the door. And, if your appointment is for 2pm, and you arrive early, you can crash their staff meeting like I did. If you do you'll understand why they're so great to their patients. I'd put it right up there with someone scratching their nails down a chalkboard (insert *chills*). Well, fear no more and enter The Dental Associates at Pitman. I love everything about this place! The front office staff is warm, friendly and always greets me with a smile. The dental hygienists and dentists are wonderful! Doesn't really matter who you get because they're all caring, experienced professionals with impressive credentials to boot, but I've got to shout out to my hygienist Cathy. She is personable, thorough and very gentle to the touch. I've also had the pleasure of meeting and consulting with two of four dentists on staff, Dr. Choi and Dr. MacFeeters. Both further exemplify the many qualities I look for in an exceptional dentist and dental office. The facility itself it also quite nice. It's clean with adequate waiting space, their equipment is state-of-the-art and they use cutting edge techniques to ensure you're getting the best care and treatment possible. First timer giving a bad review. I am having an issue with Dr Turner Romanko's office and I've…read morecalled Cathy (office manager) two weeks ago to explain the situation. (keep getting billed from a broken tooth done by the oral surgeon who is handling the situation- different office) (came to Dr Turners to fix the tooth) Like I said, I left the message two weeks ago with the front desk person. Instead of calling me back she sent me a letter (replying to my call) In this said letter, it stated that I didn't make the complaint (of my sons broken tooth) until 4 days after the procedure, which is not true. Procedure was done on a Thursday and I spoke with the surgeon on that Saturday when he was away. Surgeon called me back from his vacation! Instructed me to call my son's dentist to fix it and he would foot the bill. Called Dr Turners office that Monday and they got my son in that day to fix it but the bonding keeps coming off the tooth. After getting this letter yesterday, I called Dr Turners office and Cathy is off. Works Tues, Wed, Thurs. Then I called the surgeons office. He actually called me back today to further understand what Dr Turner's office is saying because none of what Cathy said happened at the oral surgeons office was true. Instead of calling me back, she made up information and made it out to be our fault when my son's tooth was broken during a procedure. At this point it's not about the copayment, it's about what's right. The last sentence of her letter states, "We consider this matter resolved and appreciate your understanding." Does not give me a chance to explain what actually happened. Moral of this text is to stsnd your ground. Your integrity is important. Cathy was not there at the time of surgery and is making up stories about the surgeons office. Also- still hasn't called me back. That's an unprofessional establishment, if you ask me. Not to sound dramatic but my son was the victim in this situation and Cathy and Dr Turner are making it look like I did not report this quick enough and who knows if his tooth really broke during surgery. And any further problems with the tooth is on me. When in fact the surgeon said it's not! The actual moral of this text is to return a patients phone call and all of this would have been avoided. She called the wrong people and took their word. Needless to say we will not be returning to Dr Turner Romanko.

They are pretty diligent in maintaining contact and working with any schedule. I've been attending for about a year. I am currently sitting in Dental Arts typing this because I'm struggling with the now two interactions I've had with this woman answering the phones. I called earlier to confirm and I spoke with her. She picks up, announces herself and I say, "Hi! I'd like to confirm my appointment I can't remember if it's 2 or 2:30p." Now I imagined as with all previous interactions I've had with literally anyone on the face of the planet I've talked to at a doctor's office...that she'd say something along the lines of "ok great, can I have your name?" Instead, I get a sarcastic, "well your number says wireless caller so I'm going to need your name to figure that out." Tone is a powerful thing and hers was not friendly. But I let it go and gave her my information. I figured who knows what kind of day this woman has had and I let it go. Fast forward and I come in and I am encountering this woman for a second time. Usually there's a check in to write your name on but I imagine they took it away due to COVID. so she's on the phone and I stand there until she's done so I can let her know I'm here. She gets off the phone. Can I help you? "Yes, I'm checking in for my appointment." Once AGAIN I get a sarcastic remark. How about SURE WHATS YOUR NAME? Like maybe it's me? Am I asking too much? Am I being to sensitive?! But when she walked away another young lady came up and did the EXACT THINGS I was expecting from the other lady!!!!! Now I have to sit here and try not to go all the way off while I await my cleaning. also I've been sitting here for half an hour and everyone that came in after me has gone back. Happy Trails!!

I work as a registered nurse, and I write this as a patient who had dental work performed here…read more I regret ever coming to this office. All of this happened within a span of 6 months. The first time I came here as a new patient, I noticed my tooth was discolored. I mentioned this to the dental hygentist taking care of me, and he said he didn't see anything, and pulled another dental hygentist in the room to look at my tooth. He said to me "That discoloration is the color of your tooth", as the other dental hygienist laughed at me. Another time I went, I asked the woman at the check out desk which pain medication to take after I had my root canal done. She said to me condescendingly, "You won't have any pain because the nerve is gone". She's right that I may not have nerve pain anymore, but I would have inflammation to the surrounding tissues due to the nerve being extracted. There was no need for her attitude. I went there for a routine cleaning recently, and at the end, the dental hygienist said to me "Has it been a while since your last cleaning? Because it looks like it's been... you know..." and gives me a look, insinuating that I had a lot of plaque in my teeth, and that it has been a long time since I had my them cleaned. If you have ever worked in healthcare, you're taught to keep your judgments to yourself and to care for the patient. Another time I went into their office, the endodontist assessed my tooth and determined it would be appropriate to do a second root canal. They had to move me to another room for the procedure, and when I walked in, I saw a bib on the chair. I told one of the employees that a patient left their bib on the chair. The girl took the bib, left the room, and said "They said that was there for you", and I told her "No, I already have one". I had doubts the room was properly clean. After the 2nd part of my root canal was finished, and after the numbing medicine wore off, I have no idea what the dentist did to me, but I had a fat lip that lasted for days. I don't know how common this is, but I've never had this happen to me before. Last, I had a crown placed one week ago, and it fell out last night. I called this morning to come in and be seen, and they refused to see me because they had no cancellations. I wanted to be taken today because it may not be possible to come in for the remainder of the week, due to childcare, work, and various appointments. The woman on the phone said "Then I will tell Michele next week then". They are refusing to see me over a crown they put in one week ago because they have no cancellations. As a patient, all of this behavior is egregious and unacceptable. I should not have tolerated all that I did, and should have seen another dentist sooner. The only positive thing I will say, is that Dr. Singh, the endodontist, was exceptional. I felt little to no pain, he was personable, kind, and soothing. I would recommend anyone to go to him if you need a root canal done. I don't expect this office to take this review seriously, and I have no doubts the people in this office will make fun of this review. But I'm putting this out there to warn other patients of how unprofessional this office runs.
