My husband has had the same issue with his records not being processed. This makes me concerned about the quality of future care we will receive if they are not fully processing our historical records. For my daughter, even though I'm the guarantor, they wouldn't send me her bills. She has shared her health record with me but her bill doesn't come over. Their solution? They want me to log in as her - totally ridiculous. This is not a software capability issue - our previous provider uses the same software and I received the bills for my entire family as the guarantor. I like my doctor but I'm strongly reconsidering our relationship with them based on our experiences so far. Note this review is for the system, not a specific location as we have gone to more than one.

As a physician (a specialist who cares for very complicated patients), I know what constitutes reasonable billing codes and when to apply them. In early 2024, at my annual physical, I was billed a 99213--moderately complex office visit (=$89 after insurance); the billing department told me this additional billing was due to the doctor clicking on two refills for long standing, non life-threatening health concerns that were minimally mentioned at the physical. After that visit's billing, I discontinued those two medications. This year at my annual well health physical, I was again billed a 99213 (=$95 after insurance) despite not being prescribed any medication for any condition by this physician. This time, the initial billing employee told me the charge was due to my doctor's "co-management" of a chronic condition (for which I had seen my specialist two days prior and for which my primary was never involved in the care or coordination as I self referred). Then I was told that the additional billing charge was due to my occasional use of an over the counter heartburn medication and to discuss my cholesterol for which I do not receive any treatment. The Affordable Care Act of 2010 includes preventative health maintenance covered 100% by insurance. The providers at PCA and their billing department work very hard to find miniscule issues to levy additional charges for the patient +or insurance which is part of the vicious cycle (the medical-industrial complex) and contributes to ever escalating insurance premiums and patient financial harm.

They decided to hold my husband's medication hostage due to an appointment scheduled with another doctor. That doctor's office sent them the information they needed and they decided unilaterally to cancel my husband's appointment at Family Care of the Fox Cities with NO NOTICE. No call, no text. Then they refused to renew his prescriptions even though they were informed of the other upcoming appointment. Honestly we should have been shopping around when Dr. Richter announced his retirement. To top it off: they are now installing spy cameras in the waiting room. I don't think that's going to make patients feel at ease.

Dr. Richter was on call late into the nights. One night my boy hit his head at church at night we called Family care and he met us at the clinic 7PM. Dr Falleroni has been great for my young adult daughter getter her through teen years and new. Dr Bonnie got my son in when he needed an urgent procedure for his cancer--I called Friday late and she had us in 7:30 Monday morning. This team has never let us down over the last 20 years

I was in Appleton Wisconsin (I live in Chicago and also Florida), and was in town to see my in-laws and grandson. I was referred to urgent care physicians by my sister-in-law, and was seen there at about 1 o'clock. I was up by 2 o'clock. I can only describe the care as caring, efficient, and professional. It is 9 o'clock at night, and I am already improving. I would recommend this clinic to anybody with an ambulatory illness. Frankly, I was very impressed!
