Myself along with my partner and family members took his course today and it was very well worth it. The amount of knowledge, security, quality, and education you will get, that I got, from this course is well worth every dime spent. Completing the course to become LTC I now feel very comfortable being able to protect myself. This is more than just an LTC course. You learn other ways to protect yourself as well (man and woman). I along with the class felt very comfortable asking questions. The instructor is very knowledgeable about the gun laws. Due to Covid-19 being a concern everyone wore masks the entire class period including the instructor. We all had to wash our hands upon entry. There was plenty of hand sanitizer for use throughout the class session as well. The environment was very clean and relaxing. Gun Range: You will go to the range to practice at the end of the course. No need to worry if you do not own a firearm. That is taken care of. The instructor was very clear on his instructions and ensuring you listened. But you do need to listen. This is not a joke. Firing a gun you need to practice safety at all times. Follow his instructions and you will have the aim for your target down like me . So if you want to learn how to unbutton someone's shirt when you are in danger I highly recommend this class. You don't get it now about the "unbutton" but you will. The value in attending classes and training at ISI far exceeds all of the so-called competition. I am NOT paid to write this. I have true experience with ISI. I recognized the need to become familiar with firearms, and hand guns in particular. I had an incident with someone following me one late evening. I was a single mom with a teenage daughter and wanted to protect us. From the classroom to the gun range, ISI was at my side. The training was excellent! The encouragement throughout the process was honest and rewarding. ISI gave me the academic and hands on training not to fear using a firearm to protect myself and my family. This course was so important that I also sent my daughter when she became old enough to carry. I highly recommend ISI for your own protection and the protection of those you love.

First off I've been shooting guns since I was 10 years old, hunted deer, fowl etc and I'm in my…read more50's now. I took a handgun shooting class taught by Glenn. And I walked away learning so much, my aim has changed and I learned how to focus differently. No matter the age or how long you've been shooting. Taking a fresher course is a good idea. I used my stock Glock 19 - 9mm with just a light no extras for the class. Here are my observations: 1. Glenn is very patient 2. The way he speaks and terms used was simple and easily understood. From beginners to experienced shooters. 3. HE IS VERY MINDFUL of GUN SAFETY, (which I like). He makes sure to clear his own gun several times before demonstrating anything for the student. And reminds to clear our own gun and holster it prior to moving around. He did this continuously throughout our time together. Awesome! 4. His teaching process is step by step and easy to follow. 5. He taught proper grip and pressure where needed and where to keep a looser grip. 6. He showed how to aim and where my focus point needed to be with these 50+ year old eyes and I was so much more accurate. 7. Glenn has a passion to teach shooting and he cares. You can sense it when you take his class. It's not a money grab for him. I highly recommend taking Iron Soul Tactical shooting classes taught by Glenn. You will walk away learning something new about your ability, have lots of fun and be a better shooter. Glenn is a really nice guy and a veteran. He's also an excellent shooter, that's probably the only part I don't like about him. J/K. Go take his class you won't regret it. And you'll have lots of fun.

They have everything you need ammunition/weapon wise from what I can tell and I appreciate that I can come back here to go shooting. And I probably should, once I'm not longer a scardy cat, but I like that you can't tell if they are shooting, because it's like impossible that I have gone there when no one is practicing. The place is quiet, cold, clean, and just a gun club. Google maps will sometimes try to send you a building up or down, so be aware. Otherwise, a nice little venue that is kind to anyone who happens to wander in no matter what the reason is when you visit.

He told stories to make the classroom time flyby and I was entertained the whole day. The gun range was a blast. I've never really liked guns and have always been scared of them so I went in super nervous, having only shot a gun a handful of times. By the end of the hour at the gun range, I felt so much more comfortable around guns, understanding how they operate, and more confident with my ability to handle one. But Gary hung in there with me with such a great attitude that I am forever grateful and recommend him to anyone who wants to learn Texas gun laws throughly, with a comical twist, and who wants to pass their LTC test and the range test. Get some rest the night before & be ready for a long day of excitement. Hope was friendly, engaging and enthusiastic about the course content and firearm safety.
